Artifacts & Weapons Series

I wanted to start this post off with this screencap, one of my better screencaps of Medusa.

Since Playtime Event completed, I haven't done much leveling.  Katerinia (Pio Grandies) and Svensgaard (Lhote) haven't reached Master yet.  I managed to get one Hammer of Sloth out of 267 chances (leftover points after getting Lhote).

I tagged at Montoro this week.  This isn't the first time, but I still think tagging at Montoro is funny because my triple WC team isn't supposed to be able to do damage.  Maybe he was weak with envy of their rods.  :p

I added two more Basic Artifacts, now I have six.

I finally reached Level 1 in Fishing on the Farm.  LOL...

I haven't been paying attention to my TP Neph crystals as I haven't been going to it consistently.
I currently have 247, this would take about 22 days to complete, but again, I don't make it to it often, so might be a end of November completion?  We'll see.  I think I would go for a LOE.

An unplanned project: I got "harassed" about making Artifacts.  :p  So far...

Had to craft both the Bloody Rose and Black Rose to craft the Elite Bloody Rose.

Must keep doing Port Union, Merchant Union, Back Alley Poor for Artifact mats...  (3400 points)

Other rambles, I don't chip things often, as I don't often have gears to chip.

This server seems to like to give me Wildlife...

Not keeping that 100e Fire, was capped just for records.

I'm a bit annoyed about the 100e Ice, I'd rather have something else.

I'm keeping the Evil Ice because I already spent too many chips on it.  Orz

Been hard at work with bracelets.  ^.^;  Got my third Evil Weapon, which I ended up picking Ice Bracelet instead of Fire Bracelet (not sure how many more late night TP runs I can make though) and also crafted my third ever Constellation (such a noob!) also Ice Bracelet.

The most amazing and awesome crafting... is my first ever Strata Weapon.  *_*  It came out +6 3S.  Upgrading took two tries, the first time, it stayed +6 then it went to +7.  I feel very, very, very lucky on both accounts.  To have it come out crafted like it did, on something like a Strata...  *_*  And not have to try to upgrade a lot of times.  *_*  Lucky, lucky Ferret!

In other Ferrety news:

Went to another Montoro run this Sunday and WC'd at it.  Also WC'd at another raid which was kinda difficult bosses.

So far have Floor 1, 3, and 4 Hard version medals for Tigres Prison Raid.  ^.^

Post #550: Stranger Than Fiction

Sadly to say, I don't have anything fancy to say about today.

It's more of a rant!  Today marks the eighth day in a row that I've had to kill Elminor (or fourth time in a row that I've gotten the quest) for the DD hunt.  It's getting ridiculous.  Yeah, you can just say I'm unlucky, etc. but a lot of people are stuck on this quest.  It should either be removed or Elminor should be moved back to one hour respawn.  It isn't right that it should be this difficult to finish this quest.  I didn't say it's impossible, but it's definitely difficult.  If you don't know the timer when it was last killed... well, you're out of luck unless you go kill it right after Maintenance.

On a different note, my Katia displaying the Al Rischa and Angel pistols.  So pretty!  ^.^

Magic Power in Her Glasses

Helped to craft and chip some constellation bracelets.  Worthy to note, one of them came out 2S and a chip of 30-some% with 3AR.  :o  This kind of stuff doesn't happen when I try to craft and chip my own.  :p  But it was fun helping craft and chip.  Shiny!  *_*

Mushroom Samba

Finally got my enchantments back!  I ended up spending 199 chips to rechip 15 weapons to something I deemed decent.  There were six 30-some atk/90-some racial and even a 28% 3AR rapier which someone said would be good for Vendetta Valeria (should I magically get her).

Went to CT floors 1 through 10 and then the key for 11th floor didn't drop.  D:  Also went to TP Neph, Cortes, and Jurg.

The whole time I was trying to come up with a name for Cadet Elisa.  >_>  It's very un-Ferret-like to not have a name prepared well in advance.  I guess I better start coming up with names for... Pioneer Grandice, Sniper Bernelli, Cherlyn, Freeday, Liung, Vendetta Valeria, and Spy Olivia in case someday they make them available to non-cash players.  Oh, and a name for original Olivia.

Maybe I can finally sleep better at night.  No more BH nightmares.

Crafted the Al Risch.  My second Constellation weapon.  Yes, I am that noob.  Read it again, my SECOND Constellation weapon.  I've been playing for almost three years and only have two Constellations.  I've had the Shooting Crystals ready for over a year.  Just never went and got recipes.  Blue Crane put two chips on it.  :D

It is way, way to late now!  Good thing my flight isn't until the afternoon...

I managed to get Unlimited Shot started on Katia and Etienne, but they seem to be leveling rather slowly and I'm not impressed by the way it looks on spacebar.  I'm missing watching Punisher already!  D:  I started ET on Stella, but then decided to get Bard and Tactical Assistance leveled first (still working on this one).  I'm really nerdy about having characters finish all stances.  The ones that have Bareknuckle all have them finished.

I decided I better get a character card or two because I feel like a loser already.  I ended up picking Elisa and Vincent because they didn't involve killing (well, BH Toubkal wasn't bad).  Thank goodness for wizards who levitate for getting around maps quickly!

I triggered Ludin, but didn't do anything beyond that.  I triggered Veronif too, but stopped because I don't have BMS.  Started Natalie too, but didn't kill anything.

Actually, I really wanted Adriana to be the first character card I got, but just too tired to go solo CM.  I've only done that once and that was a long time ago.  z_z  And sure as heck not going to solo CR.  Never even tried.  >_<

Man, now I really do feel like a loser.  Orz

Double Trouble

Did something stupid today and submit a ticket for it.  I hope they will help with it.  :<

Lost three hours on Explorer Pack because went to BH and the clock there messed things up.

Started using CAA pass and trying to level up Omar (Najib), Borus (Coimbra), and Renton (Viki) in hopes of getting to next family level.

Did my usual dailies, CM wasn't being nice with the chip drops.  :x

Hopped over to Illier to clean account a bit and chatted with Eollica-sama.  :o

Might have to do vesping on an alt just to be on the safe side.

Blue Crane helped to chip something and finally got my second Human weapon.  \(^.^)/
(I'm such a weapon failure, there's really not much in my arsenal with racials.)

Nothing too much exciting, as we're back to farming again.  And I'm studying for exam (yet again).

Mostly just waiting for next year, new patch(es), and new content.

Unexpected Luck

This morning I upgraded something to +7.  I thought I was pushing my luck, since yesterday I already got two things to +6 and +7.

Next, I crafted something [important] that came out 3S.  *_*  This is the second time in my entire Sword2 career that I've crafted something 3S.  It was probably about the same time last year that my ELB Scout came out 3S.  *_*  I've had a handful come out 1S or 2S, but for something to come out 3S is like... a miracle!!!  Now to put Jewels in it...  ^.^;

Then tonight I threw twelve chips on something that I'd been throwing a few chips on here and there.  It came out pretty nice, no racial mods, but 40% Atk and 30% Atk Spd, which I think is the max stats you can get?  So I consider this lucky too!

Went and tried my luck at solo'ing Prison for MQs, but as I expected, only got four.  :p

It's Alive!

The title should be, "It is complete!"  I finished crafting my last Serpent weapon for the year!  The Serpent Javelin.  :D

Of my 100e collection, two were gifts (Serpent Cannon and Chess Blunt) and one was from a Prison Roulette (Serpent Staff), the rest I crafted!  Whoa...  :o  Oh, and I purchased a second Serpent Pistol, pew pew pew!

Now I just need to keep eye out for the 100e Lightening, Fire, and Ice bracelets on MM, then I will truly be finished with the 100e series!

I almost didn't make it to Mufasar today, as I was still stuck in traffic getting home from work.  >.<;  Dominator didn't show up, which always nice!

How disappointing.  Really?  No new words?  No new weapons?  :<  Come on, I want to see the LOE and Crossbow!  And Knuckle and Tome!  T.T

In other news, I bought a few more Snail Shells today, just need four more and buy some Composite Steel, then it's off to craft the Serpent Javelin!  The last thing I will craft this year!  ^.^;

Still deciding how much cash to spend (no more than $25) on Gold as we only have two more days before no more Gold purchases.  Half of my problem is deciding what I could possibly need from Cash Shop.  I know I'll need Great Stones for feso primarily for pet food...  Some Socket Fluxes to 2S stuff.  I don't think I'll need any UAs as I don't plan to upgrade anything (unless there's some need to +7 a LS?).  Some EBs to help with chipping veteran stuff.

Other than that... I think I will leave it up to next year to see what the costs would be for things like Promo Scrolls and Quarter Slot Permits for new characters.  All my current seventy-one characters have either been promoted or have scrolls reserved for them (up to Expert).  (I'm still shocked I have that many toons created...  All UPCs, both genders of stocks and city, all four Cathy robots, and all seven promo characters.)

More lags occurred today.  Circus suffered spurts, which was dangerous during Mario part.  I was also worried I would DC again during BH, thankfully I didn't, but later I did have a random DC.

Currently working on Flintlock, Tronada Cruz, and Darkness on Lydia (Auch lady), Raymond (Reb dude), and Raul (Mboma), respectively.

I ended up crafting a Chess Sword since I already had the recipe!  Blue Crane buff helped it to be crafted with 2S!  :D

Was also given a Chess Blunt to add to collection!  :D  Now I'm down to three more to complete collection.

It's Show Time!

I lost track of time!  Today marks two years and seven months* that I have been playing this game (June 19, 2010)!  It's a little over half the month, but I've made a lot of progress already on the November Goals!
*Would have quit long before, had it not been for Senpai.

I think I'm about to go on a crafting rampage...  I took stock and found that I am short three Chess (Blunt, Sword, Greatsword) and two Serpent (Javelin, Shotgun) weapons to complete those sets.  I'm making it a goal to craft them (I don't see any on market).  Like when I was a noob last year, my goal was to craft/purchase all twenty one Trump series.  I'm still a noob, so this year's goal is to complete the 100e collection (minus the bracelets, because Ziz pieces are impossible and people must be hoarding the bracelets for next patch).  No, next year's goal will not be crafting all Constellations.  That would be insane for me.

I feel kind of pathetic actually, because I think everyone in the clan has already graduated from 100e weapons and moved on to 33AR Constellation, Angel, and Jewel weapons.  I own one Constellation* Lightening Bracelet (which I don't carry), one Angel Knuckle (which I don't use), and one Jewel Pistol (which I forget to use).  Sometimes it's a wonder why I'm still in the clan.  O_o;
*Still contemplating crafting a Constellation Pistol, as I still have that set collecting up dust since last year.

I don't know, I like to collect weapons now (similar to collecting costumes), I like having one of each kind.  I remember people used to harp on me all the time, "You have to have a main team and start getting weapons and gears just for them."  I didn't play by that rule... it felt kind of limiting.  :x

It took me a long time to find a trio I was comfortable using.  For awhile it was Caly/Ele/Sco because they were the highest level characters I had and they were said to be good for ToC.  I got bored with them after extended use, plus they were starting to max out.  Next, I leveled up Helena/Emi.  I used Raven for awhile because I loved to shoot things and Croisement was cool.  Lionel came around and my team became Lionel/Helena/Emi.  I even used Lionel on Outrage for the longest time because I didn't have Punisher.  A couple people laughed at me for using Lionel on Outrage.  What could I do?  Punisher wasn't exactly raining like rabbits before the Alphabet Event.  I enjoyed Outrage anyway, I loved Outrage on my duo muskies.  Pew pew pew always in my <3 !

I'm busy with work and I travel a lot for work, so I'm not able to be active in the game.  I'm fairly satisfied today with what I can do, all things considered.

This was a rather rambly post... more so than usual anyway.

*Experienced a lot of lag spikes.  I DC'd in BH Sedecram.  I was about to warp to the next zone.  T.T
*Attended Mufasar!  I haven't gone in a super long time.  It went smoothly, no Domi appearance, therefore no smash-a-roo.  Though for some reason Emi missed WC with Level 12... wth?
*Was gifted an Elite Antique Pistol to add to Baron collection!  \(^.^)/  Twelve more to go!
