Duo'd Prison and realized I need to just stick with Forgotten Magic.  I do rather poorly when I try to skill with Occultism in there.  :<

Was gifted an instance with Mr. Chicken Tonight, who was stingy and only gave me one Constellation Box and it was a Libra, not an Aries.  :\

Something I don't want to lose

Whee!  I ended up crafting the Serpent Main-Gauche thanks to Fox-san providing some Snail Shells!  :D  Too bad... only Grandice and Racel would make use of them in the future and even then, Grandice would end up using Greatsword and Racel would use Dagger instead.

I exchanged a bunch of roughs and got a fair amount of GQ and HQ Spods and Obs!

I got a Capri from exchanging Ancient Gold Relic Pieces!  Even though symbols are practically worth nothing now, it's still nice to get something sort of for free.  It's rare to get a symbol from Exchanger, so I feel pretty happy about it.

We did six out of seven Clan Raids today and even finished Sekhmet in 9:41 minutes!  *_*  Go Halcyon!  I got a LS from one of the raids.  :)

Indigo Cloud

It's funny when you need something at a certain time, you never seem to get it, and then when you no longer need, it shows up!

Senpai gifted me an instance with Mr. Griffon and I only got one Constellation Box.  Mr. Griffon is cheap, he has given only one or two boxes.  >O  From my tracker I only do Griffon once a month, so why so skimpy Mr. Griffon?  >O  It was a Gemini, but I needed a Taurus.

There were two Constellation Boxes from Jeepers Creepers which yielded Capricorn and Pisces.  Pisces never showed up for the longest time!

I still have yet to decide what to craft with my second set of symbols.  Maybe I'm crazy, but I enjoy leveling stances more than trying to craft Constellation Weapons.  :\

When the Sun Goes Down Ferret Comes Out to Play

Caught up on some real life stuff and even stayed up late to clean up some inventory (too many poorly modded gloves and shoes), but still have a lot of inventory clean up to do.

Went to LG raid, didn't get lost, which is always a nice feeling.  It was a nearly full squad so my chances of winning FC for the Lightening Sword was slim to none (didn't win in case anyone was wondering).

Clan Raids gave me a Dragon Heart recipe (not that I really need this), Leo, Pisces, and Capricorn.  Very nice!  (Where are my Scorpio and Taurus though?  D: )

We almost didn't have enough people for a late evening ToC run, so we went to Crow first.

I went as Triple WC with the shiny new Miss Stella (ETS).  I actually did all right at Dominator, the one I fear the most.  Teslacoil was a bit messy when the clones came out.  Mercurcio (Male Wizard) kept getting smashed even though he was wearing a good ELB.  Our tanker DC'd during Jellyfish.  Ginger (go, go tiger-kun!) and another clannie took turns kiting Jelly.  I got a chance to practice WC, so it was all good.  It's been awhile.

I crashed before I got too far into the last raid I attended for the evening.  After doing the posing in HWC, I suddenly went poof!  (What is with the crashing too, when I was trying to get to Castilla Temple, I kept crashing repeatedly and was nearly the last one to get to Temple.  :x )

Found the Serpent Plate costume for really cheap!  Hopefully next box will reissue Gloriosa and I'll be caught up with "new" costumes!

Attended one last Circus run with character when he finished his Expert stance.

Then massacred vesps until he was Master.

I think between the two characters I probably vesped for five hours in total*.  Not bad at all to get them to the Master level they ended at and roughly 36 hours between the two to get all stances maxed (including Expert).  I had fun with this project!  Didn't think it was going to finish in three days, but it happened!  \(^.^)/

*I probably wouldn't have done all this vesping if I wasn't able to kill them 10-15 seconds.  If I had Level 12 ET and UD wings or other potions I might have been able to do it even faster.  I heard of people vesping in 5 seconds.  So pro.

Clan raids got me the Pisces I needed!  Now just need three Scorpios and five Taurus!  Also got a Le Scarce too!  :D

Did a Griffon instance which gave me two Constellation Boxes and even Rafflesia which gave me one Box (it never gave me boxes all the previous times, so I hadn't been keen on going).  Alas, no symbols that I needed.

There was a bit of bummer news at work today that made me feel sad.

But two things cheered me up in the game.  :)

Tonight Before You Fall Asleep

Normally attending Cortes causes me a lot of grief, but it went well today.  :o!  Senpai ran though Luci Lab with me and I suffered minimal casualties, though we did have a run in with a swarm of bats that caused delay in arriving in Basement.  Cortes raid was totally comedic to me today.  Nephthys swiped us dead over and over again.  Mobs spawned and escaped to the main floor, reminiscent of my first times at Cortes.  Ararats followed someone in and there was smashing abound.  Random Bog Anglers spawned at the steps.  I went kamikaze a few times attempting to res Taichou's WC team.  Anastasia passed out underneath Cortes as a result.  Ginger and I ressed each other a few times while killing rogue mobs.  James' Emi was bugged, as she continued to remain napping no matter how many times I tried to res her.  Normally all of this would have irked me because it meant prolonging the ordeal.  But tonight, I didn't give a sh1t.  I was laughing amidst the chaos.  :o!

O.o Orly?  o.O Yarly!

I attribute my sense of humor this evening to 1) eating dinner (usually I attend this raid on an empty stomach due to timing) and 2) the magical Blue Crane buff giving me a Pisces from Griffon.  Only one box dropped, so I only had 1/12 chance, such narrow odds.  *_*  Whee!  My first Pisces towards Unlimited Shot* (pew pew pew with my two Serpent Pistols)!

Another non-active day in the game.  Stayed away from ToC for the second day in a row and also didn't attend Prison.  All in the name of studying!  D:

I did, however, go to Clan Raids with not-my-usual team of Valencia (Calypso), Claudia, and Anastasia.  Instead of using the UD crossbow, Valen used the Life one.  When Claudia wasn't using the Black Bishop, she used the White Bishop.  Not a bad run.  I got a Scorpio, Cancer x2, and Libra.  *_*  And a Rare Book of Shooting.  XD

Until I take that exam, my posts will likely be very minimal.  I also apologize to anyone who tried to contact me in the game or MSN and I don't respond.  I'm mostly AFK leveling.

I will try harder with the tests this week Coach!  Q.Q

Mixed Feelings

On the eve of my second anniversary in this game.  I thought about listing my accomplishments and the gears I've gotten (crafted/purchased/gifted), but today's ToC run left me feeling like I haven't amounted to much.

I'll end with saying at least I made great friends and found an awesome senpai.

Update: Starfish-taichou asked if I made a screencapture of this...  I think it was ninja Photoshopped by little G1 hamsters without permission.  Ferret tagged in ToC with Claudia and Freesia (duo ele).  O.o;  Glitch in the game I say.  There were tons of top DPSers in the squad.

Quite interesting to note, Taichou gave Ferret some Relics to try for Feast.  It never fails, Ferret usually gets Feast in five tries, today got on first try.  o.O;  Taichou says that the Clan Relics like Ferret.  :o

Another Update: Ferret received "second year Sword2 anniversary" presents!  Ferret was given three 92e Baron weapons to add to Ferret's collection.  The other was a Griffin Tear from FSB.  The raid gave Ferret three Constellation Boxes which yielded Aries, Sagittarius, and Scorpio.  \(^.^)/

Today's Prison team consisted of an all star cast of Taichou (used very specialized net to
catch this starfish!), Senpai (ahuehuehuehue no u!), Ginger-kun (kitty returned from
exile!), and James-san (received redemption for ressing my spooked team).  I feel like the
Fifth Beatle to these four Beatles. 

Went to Medusa again this week.  Was permitted to use Laurent (Lionel) instead of Valencia
(Calypso) because of Daemon pistols.  Going to this late night raid puts a monkey ferret wrench in my sleeping pattern.  :x

The most awesome thing happened today!  Blue Crane came with me to Griffin and I got three
Constellation Boxes!!!  I opened two, which were Leo and Aries and gave Blue Crane the third
one to open.

Just did the usual dailies.  Blue Crane participated in BH and I got a Le Scarce from roulette, one of the types I didn't have yet.  Got a DHr and two symbols, but Pisces is ever elusive.  A second Constellation weapon is simply a no go for me.  Checked out Cruz event.  Also did Fire Gate, but no Constellation Boxes.  Out of 15 Angler Spins, two were Swamp Anglers, which is a very awesome spawn rate for me (thank you Blue Crane!).  Even though these raids didn't give the things I hoped for, it's always fun time with

I also finally got around to finishing that Gertrude Rat Infestation questline... now I have something else I need to do daily.  >.>

Vantz-chipping-kami-sama "nudged" me on MSN (felt like I was being paged LOL) to have a chipping session.  His chipping magic churned out something good in 10 chips!  *_*  I need to work on other properties before it can make its debut.

I just realized today marks my third month in Halcyon Clan!  :o

Today was raid filled because supposedly it was a lucky day.
For me it was kinda break even.  ^.^;
I had fun though!  :D

Circus, CM x2 (I really need to get MQ!!!), Prison, Griffon (one Constellation box), Rafflesia (no box), Scharf (one Constellation box).  I think the trick is that the Blue Crane needs to be in close proximity during the raid or else I don't get a Constellation box (hence, none from Raff).  The lucky buffer pet got me a Scorpio!  :D  And the other was a Capricorn.  Much later in the evening I also went to Medusa.  Ana even got a WC on Medusa.

Might have missed listing another raid, but my secretary is away and I can't function without them.  :x

I find myself getting sloppy in Circus because it feels like it's not a challenge anymore and I begin to make silly mistakes and nearly letting Claudia get killed by Arsene's debuff.  >_>;

I went and tried to solo Bounty Hunter Occulta and Sedecram.  I thought for sure I was either going to die or take 20 minutes to finish.  Who knew...  It took less than five minutes each.  O.o!

Also tried out Rafflesia.  I. will. never. open. a. Constellation. box. without. my. Blue Crane.  It was an Aries!  Whee!  \(^.^)/

Prison!  We were supposed to have five people in the squad, but the room was unintentionally started with three.  I went to take on the right Elite but had to go back to left for the other one.  It was a bit horrible because I hadn't had practice solo'ing an Elite.  By the time I got to the left side I was getting attacked too much and died and didn't get to buff and SC'd four times.  But I managed to kill the Elite without buffs (not recommended).  I actually had the most fun attacking Testo while waiting for the reinforcements to come out of ogre cells.  It was PF-hit-and-run-PF-hit-and-run rinse and repeat, but I managed to make a good dent on him!  :o

I told Ophi-taichou about this particular Prison run and her compliment to me was, "You're stronger than you think you are."  Hearing this from her meant a lot to me.  *_*

One Way Ticket

Today's adventures consisted of Cortez raid, Lightening Gate, Clan Raids (The Blue Crane got me a Leo symbol and DHr!), and Prison.

Senpai patiently supported me through the Laboratory, but even though my family level is higher and I have higher Alliance War buff, I still died like last time.  Brings back memories.  o.o

This would have been pretty if the Parasites weren't so painful.

Something about going to Cortez puts me in a stressful mood and I fall in back into my "I really suck at this game" rut.  (Won't get into it here.)   This was my fifth time at this raid.  Spent maybe 20% of the time dead even though there were plenty of ressers around.  :\  Took some screencaps from when I was laying on the cold floor.

I finally made it to a Lightening Gate raid, having donated two LG orbs, I figured I'd better get my behind there.  During the Fire Cracker for the LG weapon, someone picked my usual number, because of Cortez raid, I thought I'd have bad luck anyway, I picked a low number that I doubted would be the FC'd number.  Lo and behold...  It was my number.  o.o  wut?  Now I'm just short Ice Gate pistol.  :p

Prison didn't go well because I didn't feel like did much damage in the ogre cell and felt I was of no help at Testo.  Kind of hard to do much when you go with two UBER players who could eat your team for breakfast.  >.>;  I felt so ashamed I went into a dunce corner.

Shiny Constellations!

I think I finally got the hang of PF'ing in ogre cell.  Only had to deal with one ogre today though.  Mr. Friday had five.  Maybe it's because it's the fifth day of the week?  Testo still smash-a-rama's my team.  :p

Met my Vet chips goal.  13 Lv100 and 41 Lv92 chips to go.  And now I'm looking to get a Taurus symbol.  Which is ironic considering...

The Blue Crane pet brought great luck at Fire Gate where two Constellation Boxes dropped.  Is this a glitch?  I think I've only see one drop in this raid, if any.  :o  On top of that, instead of the usual Sagi or Taurus...  First came the Scorpio!  o.o!  Then came an Aries!  o.o!!  I need that kind of luck during clan raids!  Maybe a Pisces will roll for me!  o.o!!!

Equally awesome was being given the Flame Thrower!  *_*  Used Miss Tania to feature!  <3

Rei-kun wanted to join in a posing session.  It took us awhile to get it set right.  ^.^;

We went to ToC today.  Nothing special for me!  I went with Ben and Claudia for duo elementalists.  Pretty fun.  I even got Feast on the first try!  Go me!  Yay!  \(^.^)/

I got an Aries from Mad Uranus clan raid.  *_*  There was a reason why I wanted an Aries, even though I already have one (but the original one won't get used since Pisces still evades me... no Constellation set).  It wasn't until much later that I remembered... it was an unspoken promise I made to taichou and senpai that if I ever got an extra Aries, I would make another wizard and train up to be triple WC for ToC.  >.>;  I am f'ing insane, since I can't WC to save my team's lives.  But, a promise is a promise, even if it was an unspoken one...

I took some time to vesp up Casandria (Female Wizard) [the game wouldn't let me name her Cassandria because of "ass"] to Level 90 the hard way, as there was no one online to lend me any UD weapons and spam carded her up to Expert and started working on Darkness.  It probably won't finish until Monday night, but at least I got it started.  >.<;

There were some lines in the ToC conversation below that could be misinterpreted.  :o

Circus, where I took too long to trigger Helena and kill Frost that LaRo-kun had already finished off Celine and Mario and had to come meet back up for Emily.  :P

Getting lost in Lightening Gate, because of the lag, I clicked the warp accidentally and lost sight of the group.  :\

Vesping Grenmah to Master while maxing out Nadia (F-Scout).

ToC where I got a Le Scarce, a ELBr Wizard (anyone have an ELBr Ele to trade with me?), and an Artisan's Leather Shoes Recipe.  But no quest drop.  I was even asked to take Frederic (Rio), which was a nice change from dragging Valencia (Calypso) to it.  Anastasia (Emilia) replaced Nadia.  I don't like standing idle... so I put Ana on Darkness during Queen.  >.<;

A break for dinner...

I took my lovely Muskies Katia and Etienne to Clan Raids.  I really want to use them more.  ._.  I discovered a pair of Musks on Flintlock look nice too.  I got a Scorpio and another Le Scarce!

Wrapped up the night by spending an hour and a half to vesp a Level 60 character to Expert 2 60-some%.  (Horrendously amazing work for someone who's never vesp'd before.  o.o!)  Valencia is up at Master 7 now, Ben is at Master 8, and Ana went up three Expert levels.   *_*  Thank you 30% Experience Buff Event!  And thank you Eo-sama and Eri-san for your guidance on vesping!

Constellation Back on the Menu

While we were waiting for some Clan Raids timers to reset, we went to Viron Crow.  I got a Shiny Crystal Box and a Constellation Symbol Box.  I clicked on the Constellation Box always thinking I would get the usual Taurus or Sagittarius and when I saw a "Symbol of S" on the floor, I thought I got a Saggi.  Then Ophi-taichou said in Squad Chat that we both got a Scorpio.  *_*  I checked my Inventory.  ~shakes with happiness~  A S-c-o-r-p-i-o!!!  ~cartwheels [and breaks her back]~  *_*

Now if I could get a Pisces, I'll get back to getting T-Runes...

Clan Raids also didn't fail me on other item...  :D  I won't say more.  :3

I partial tagged one of the Griffons and got a Cross Slash Ring!  This is a Level 100 ring, doesn't it usually drop little bitty low level rings?  I'm happy all the same.  :)

Speaking of rings, Topolo Durga likes to give me Martial Art Rings.  :o

Seriously... super raid days used to only happen between Saturdays and Sundays when I was in Core, and that was Clan Raids only.  This Friday*, I'm all pooped out from the following series of events.

♈ Prison Raid (no Inno) I died a lot less this time :x

♉ Circus (no Elite Ziz Recipe) used Ben (M-Ele) and he experienced a lot less knock downs

♊ A very high end raid... that I would never have attended because I'm usually at work

♋ Tower of Chaos (no Beholder, 5th attempt)... I inhaled dinner to during Queen's 2nd form and came back at 3rd form
