A Day of WC

:O ~!  Attempted WC at Montoro.  Was scary.  But one thing for sure...  I used less SCs on this run than all the runs before.  Maybe because I was too busy concentrating on what I was doing, I didn't pay attention to whether anyone else died, except during mob spawns and I ressed Valleria once or twice.  I guess I SC too much because either people don't res me or too many people are dead and I didn't want to risk the raid failing.

Maybe I care too much about other people.  When I'm on WC I take it like it's my responsibility to keep people alive.  Two things I can't stand when it comes to being in a squad on a raid: 1) when there is plenty of people alive and I die and nobody resses me and 2) when I waste too many unnecessary SCs which could have been prevented had said people would have ressed me.  Also, 3) when a raid could be done more efficiently and get done sooner if people would pay attention... I don't have all the time in the world.

That's why I always make it a priority to res other people's ressers first before ressing myself and save them some SCs.  But I guess I'm just naive thinking other people would care the same way back.  I'm a non cash player who tries to conserve my resources and I get the impression that the majority of the players are cash players who could care less about conserving.  In this current economy, it's hard to get a steady stream of vis to buy cash stuff from MM.

Maybe it's time to give up on the Golden Rule, "One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself."  Each person for themselves?  :\  I don't know, I can't really think that way.  :\

Neko Invasion

Back to back raids... I felt pooped!  CT all floors, then WC'd at TP Rose (third time, the mini ghosts smashed me and I still don't have a hang of the reapers, but Rose was no problem) and at TP Cortes which was really scary because it was, well, sort of my second time, but the first time was months ago and I wasted a lot of SCs back then and it was in front of a bunch of random people, so it didn't really matter, but this was part clannies and part allies...  x.x  I did okay until the end, not sure what happened then poof, all dead.

Kinda neat to see three black dots of shadow of my wizzies and a dot for Joey pet too!

:o  Today I WC'd and Grace/Rio buffed at ToC.  Which was insane because the other laptop was laggy and probably not advisable to WC and buff people at the same time, but I think it went fairly smoothly.  The squad wasn't a mad dash squad and the dps was good-fast paced that I only needed to buff a few times and people were good about ressing my buffers when they got squashed by the Queen's minions.

Then I went and WC'd at TP Rose which is my second time WC'ing at a TP.  First time was at a TP Cortes during the first weeks of the server and we needed it for Beatrice quest.  Back then I didn't even have tank attributes set up... lots of deaths...  Today I only died at the Grim Reaper things.  :o

I always wanted to take a moment and "smell the roses" in Secret Garden, but usually it's unsafe because of those King Gehocos. I was able to find a safe spot today.  Some fancy music notes!

Tomorrow marks my third year in the game.  Last year this time I tagged Queen loot at ToC and was given 92e Baron weapons for my collection as my anniversary presents.  :D

I don't have any records of what my family level was at that time.  :<  This year I'm at Level 58 with 94 characters (70 Masters [14 High Masters] and 24 Experts)!

Owl Be There

The game has been really laggy and DCs a lot when I go to quarters.  Had to do ToC twice because I froze so bad during the first run that I missed out on Dominator for chip quest.  I thought it was rather risky having me WC during the second run, but made out all right.  phew!

No adventures of Brunie versus Emilia today, though she is keeping an eye on her.

Instead, a scene from about two weeks ago.  Port of Coimbra probably has the prettiest city scenery, though I warp out/back to Reboldeux.

Went to ToC and Wc'd.  Thank goodness the squad wasn't a rush rush squad.  No deaths at the bosses, got the first WC on all bosses in with no problems!  \(^.^)/  Only died at Queen when we warped, didn't fly away fast enough and Ana (Emi) and Stella (ETS) got smashed.  Mercurcio (M-Wiz) survived though, which is, "Huh?" cause he is usually the squishiest!

Helped a friend of a friend turn in their Bristia General Box and got them 36% atk 22% atk spd 5AR Knuckle.  D:  Why didn't have that kind of luck on my ONE SINGLE General Box?!  T.T

It was worth it though.  I do feel somewhat like I've accomplished things!  All characters available have been recruited and all stances available have been obtained!  I think really good for three months.

Triple Trouble

Continued with Jack sub quest, the mobs in Kielce Night really hurt (daily William favor quest).
Started Grace sub quest, had to do the flower quest four times to get over 50 flowers (got 60).

TP Rose and got a total of 20 Rose Crystals!  :O

Had to do ToC three times because the first two times, the tank crashed at Queen, the second time we died at Dark Gemini...

Then I WC'd for the third run.  (What the hell was I thinking?)
But we finished this run.  Thank goodness.  Orz

Mysterious Carrots

This is going to end up being a laundry list of raids I went on today.  Feeling rather exhausted because it was raids back to back with 15 minutes in between for dinner and shower.  Feeling sick today and throwing up (sorry too much information).

ToC #1 where I triple WC'd with Mercurcio/Casadria/Anastasia.  I think I did all right, though I attribute a lot of my well being to the tanker.  I didn't count how many SCs I used, but probably about 15-20.  :x  Means I'm still fail.  Need to use no more than 10 I think before I can consider myself good at it.

ToC #2 where I went with Laurent/Claudia/Anastasia.  I got lazy trying to figure out what non-maxed out character to take so I ended up taking these three.  I was in the middle of attempting to get Feast from robot, but someone triggered 3rd Queen.  >.<;

After a dinner break, participated in Prison, which I went with Geia/Claudia/Anastasia (more maxed out characters, instead of taking Felicia).  I can't remember the last time I went to Prison so it was like... uh... what do I do?  Ended up going to the right side as someone else selected to go left.  I didn't lag in the spot where I Abyss, which was a surprise.  :o

Went to BH Occulta and Sedecram, had waited a day to give it a chance to "reset" clock.  The timer is so messed up.  I couldn't go to Circus because it was closed off.  I hope G1 would fix this and that eating up 1-Day passes issue, but I doubt it.  *sigh*  Went to slaughter the Untertaker instead (to vent out my frustration or something).

After a quick shower, went to get FF buff, then attended Crow.

This might not sound like a whole lot, but having been inactive for awhile this was actually really busy for me.

Caught up on some real life stuff and even stayed up late to clean up some inventory (too many poorly modded gloves and shoes), but still have a lot of inventory clean up to do.

Went to LG raid, didn't get lost, which is always a nice feeling.  It was a nearly full squad so my chances of winning FC for the Lightening Sword was slim to none (didn't win in case anyone was wondering).

Clan Raids gave me a Dragon Heart recipe (not that I really need this), Leo, Pisces, and Capricorn.  Very nice!  (Where are my Scorpio and Taurus though?  D: )

We almost didn't have enough people for a late evening ToC run, so we went to Crow first.

I went as Triple WC with the shiny new Miss Stella (ETS).  I actually did all right at Dominator, the one I fear the most.  Teslacoil was a bit messy when the clones came out.  Mercurcio (Male Wizard) kept getting smashed even though he was wearing a good ELB.  Our tanker DC'd during Jellyfish.  Ginger (go, go tiger-kun!) and another clannie took turns kiting Jelly.  I got a chance to practice WC, so it was all good.  It's been awhile.

I crashed before I got too far into the last raid I attended for the evening.  After doing the posing in HWC, I suddenly went poof!  (What is with the crashing too, when I was trying to get to Castilla Temple, I kept crashing repeatedly and was nearly the last one to get to Temple.  :x )

Chaotic Specifications

Went to Prison with new team again, but had them in the wrong ordering, so that messed up the buffing a bit, but I did get faster at buffing.

Rebuff at warp point: Reset ET/Org rings then to DVB rings.  Put on PF ring before ogre room (forgot about that today).  Bleh!  Ring swapping is no fun.  Ferret only has so many fingers on her paws.  :o

I had one ogre cell and am happy to report that I made it out alive today as well.  ^.^;  Felicia got smashed by Testo because I forgot to PF.  >.<;

We had a low showing at Clan Raids today.  Instead of taking my lovely muskies I went with Salvatore (Ralph), Claudia, and Ana for more DPS.  I triple WC'd with Taichou at Griffon.  I didn't have any problems landing the initial WC, but I did a poor job of placing the trio (Griffons were a bit unstable, slashed more wildly than previous week) so Casandria and Mercurcio got smashed.  Clannies were quick to res them though, so that helped a lot.  Thank you!  :D  I even tagged a few items, including a Provoke ring (uh, no... let me get the hang of triple WC before I even attempt to be a tanker... maybe in like 10 years!!!)  Threw both my Provoke rings on Borus (Coimbra).

Crafted my White Dagger today.  I don't care what anyone says about White Dagger versus Black Dagger, so don't even start!  It was my decision to craft it.  This dagger was blessed by Blue Crane chipping and now I have another UD weapon.  *_*  Also rechipped the Black Dagger and that one now has Life.  This totally made my day.  \(^.^)/  How interesting that the White one is UD and the Black one is Life!  :o  These two daggers look quite nice together, like the Black and White Bishops.  I need another Golem and another Human weapon... but what?

I might even take Lavinia (Torsche) out now and play with her.  Haven't used her in ages.  D:

♈  Castilla Mines x2 Team was being sleepy heads and took longer than usual to finish one run.  Sleepy like sleepy Ferret I guess!

♉ Participated in Lucifer Angler with Senpai, Pikachu, and Dias-san, although that was not my intention, I just wanted to ask them if they would be willing to help me train ToC WC, but Pikachu told me to hurry and get to Angler...

♊ Sped through Circus [like a red Ferrari] because there was ToC squad accumulating.  I hadn't used Occultism in a long time to run it.  Been using Forgotten Magic because of the LOEs.  Ferret is cheap and doesn't like to use ASOs if she can help it.

♋ Triple WC'd at ToC with Senpai as back up.  Was a bit stressed out about it prior to commencing because I hadn't gone on a run as WC in a long time and hadn't really practiced much at all since the last time.  It went all right.  I have difficulty with the initial WC.  That is going to take some practice.  I didn't really get the hang of it until the later bosses, but I also think later bosses are easier to set the initial WC.  If I had to set a way to gauge how much I improve at each run, I'd have to base it on the number of SCs I use.  This run took 11 SCs.  Which is substantially better than the 30+ I used to use in prior runs.  But I don't know... I still don't think I can solo WC yet.  I know I would have died a lot more if Senpai wasn't there to help with some of those initial WCs.  :x  This is my sixth time WC'ing at ToC and hadn't done it for two months.  Previous dates: 5/20 (Puppy backed up), 6/2 (Solo), 6/3 (Loyo-san backed up), 6/9 (Senpai backed up), 6/24 (Solo).

♌ Madness Farm clan raid!  Anastasia (Emilia) spent time with Laurent (Lionel) and Simon (Raven) on this run.  Wolf decided to smash Laurent.  D:  We Ranked 7.

♍ Mad Rafflesia clan raid!  I must say after spending time WC, SHOOTING things feels so damn refreshing.  PEW PEW PEW!  We Ranked 3.

♎ Mad Uranus clan raid!  Had fun killing the KOCs and smashing eggs.  heehee  >D  We Ranked 4.

♏ Mad Griffon clan raid!  Was going to switch up to use Valencia (Calypso) and Salvatore (Ralph), but Taichou asked if anyone wanted to be second WCer.  I said if Level 11 WC was all right and someone could lend me an extra ring, I could do it.  So Mercurcio, Casandria, and Ana came back out for another outing.  I think I did pretty well.  Merc died a few times though, because he was wearing the lowest armor.  WE RANKED 1 !!!  GO GO HALCYON!

♐ Sharffenberger The Cursed clan raid!  Switched to Valen and Salvatore as originally planned.  Told Taichou that I felt like I was performing in concert and was having wardrobe changes with my characters.  XD  They didn't die.  :o  We ranked 1 again!!!  Halcy back on the clan raids map!  ;D

♑ Curse of Red Sunset Forest clan raid!  Since we were doing so well and had a full squad going, I suggested maybe we could try Red Sun.  :o  I made my last wardrobe change for the evening.  Took Claudia (Helena), Felicia (Reckless), and Ana.  Team order is so important.  In all of my mixes it's [Open Slot] - Claudia - Ana.  Yesterday when I went to Prison, I put Felicia in that first slot and it wasn't very easy to work with.  I thought I would try Claudia - Felicia - Ana at Red Sun.  Since I had to work with this order through the duration of the raid, I got practice again with Madness and got a better handle on the potting.  So perhaps next time I go to Prison with this ordering, I'll do a better job.  We didn't finish the raid, the grim reaper things were too much.  D:  I used more SCs here than I did at ToC.  ^.^;  Definitely a good place to get those Rare Books!  Now I just need five more Combat and four more Shooting!

♒ Tania (Brunie) and Darian (Garcia) made it to Veteran 9!  I didn't get any symbols today at clan raids... and ended up using Scorpio on Pierre for Peltast.  *sigh*  I wish I had gotten a Scorp today.  :<

Acorn Behind Chair

Stayed home from work today.  Hadn't had a day off since early June and really needed to take a break.  Studied too, did pretty well on the section, but only 1/5 of the material, so I mustn't let my guard down.

Sword-wise, crafted Magic Shoes today!  *_*  Second pair of decent shoes!  T.T

Started leveling Tania (Brunie) and Darian (Garcia) to Expert.  Army of Musks!  Unite!
Pierre finished all his pre-vet and vet stances (including Bareknuckles, ahuehuehue!), used an Aries and now he's working on Tronada Cruz.

Made it to Mufasar.  :o  Even LG.  :o

(How come the few times I've gone, the LG weapon has been the Gaiter? D:)

Also, practiced Triple WC at Angler (third time at this boss) with Senpai.  Got some good practice!  I still need more practice, but starting to build my own rhythm.  Looking to apply this to ToC sometime.  Thank you for your time and patience in training me Senpai!

Did the dailies intermittently.  Attended AW and Prison.  Even tried HWC.  Though I haven't gotten much studying done because of non-game factors!  Haven't really found much to take screen caps of.  D:  Going to be mostly quiet posts I think, unless something exciting happens from clan related stuff.  :o

WC trained in ToC up to Tetrapod with Senpai.  I need more practice.  D:

Empty Shell

I would have thought that I'd get better at WC each ToC run, but I pretty much went all the way back to day one.  I was full of suckage today.  I'm too tired as I write this, but I was ready to rip myself up about it on this post.  I'd self destruct, but Ferret declawed a few days ago, so nothing to tear myself up with.  It didn't help that I was experiencing lag spikes and for whatever reason, the bosses were still skilling even with WC.  The run had many deaths and I'm pretty sure the squad would kill me if they could.

Clan raids were right after.  I barely had time to switch teams.  I went with my Muskies.  I just wanted to shoot things.  (I'd have shot myself too if I could, maybe use an alt to shoot my main?)  A Pisces rolled on roulette but didn't get it.

I'm still doing something wrong (inexcusable) because I'm having to SC far too much.  The amount of SCs I'm having to use isn't worth the gloves and shoes I'm getting from the roulettes.  :\

The afternoon was taken up by ToC.  I had a short time to go eat dinner and then it was time for AW.  Then it was Prison.  My evening was pretty much taken up.  Saturdays are exhausting.  :\

We did Clan Raids right after ToC.  It felt good to be back on DPS.  >.>;  After the ToC run, all I wanted to do was shoot things.  It felt liberating.  <.<;  My little team even tanked the wolf in Mad Farm and one of the KOGs in Mad U.  I even tried to WC the bosses.  (I'm going to have nightmares tonight.)

On a separate note, senpai and I got ditched by Prison squad.  I didn't even know I was in a squad, as I was at dinner at the time!  There was no one else to kidnap...  So we took it upon ourselves to duo this monstrous raid.  >.>'

I used up two SCs on this adventure.  I killed off the right Elite and headed to the warp for the middle, but Claudia got slaughtered on the way and Ana died going back to res her.  Dragged too many mobs while heading to Elite Bio, but managed to survive.  Only had one ogre to deal with...  >.<;  Sorry senpai you got unlucky!  Took care of some mobs at Testo entrance, but lost Ana and had to SC.  Testo's first wave of minions got me a bit and I wish I could buff faster... but...

This actually was not the first time we duo'd Prison.  Coincidentally, it was exactly a month ago.  It was risky last time, because I couldn't even handle an ogre room.  Looks like I have improved since!  I don't do 1) though, because I don't try to keep Geia in a corner, I all out attack.  All I do is 2) PF.  XD  And I definitely 3) hit-and-run Testo during smash bursts.
