Midnight Snacks, it's what we do!

Here are a few highlights for the past week!

Went on a CT run and on the 12th floor Punisher was rolling, but alas, it was not to be.  Constantin (Kaisse) is without that stance.  :<  The poor guy only has Flintlock and was leveled to Master with Outrage.  ^^;  What can I say, I'm frugal, conserving my vis for other things instead of buying bullets for Flintlock.  In any case, Outrage is better to use for AFK leveling.

Still keeping eye out for last two old cash costumes and the hair for Mifuyu.  Was gifted a fiery weapon costume!  *_*  Except that Isabella (BSI) uses a greatsword instead of polearm, so not likely to see the costume.  Secret!Hidden!Weapon!Costume!  ;3

Crafted another Artifact!  I received help with the Soft Cotton Yarn.  (Thank you!!!)  I've been doing my best to keep up with Durant quests in hopes of getting Artifact materials.  Sometimes I get lazy...  It takes me about three ET buffs with Francois (Ion) and Octavia (Cathy INT) running up and down collecting up mobs and AOE'ing.  Next goal is to reach 100 Royal Insignia.

Attended Fury Sekhmet and got a Magama Storm Ring (Ludin's Efreet skill)!  :o  I've only started to go recently because I happen to be around.  From the sounds of it, the roll rate is low?  It's going to be like Pokemon, gotta catch them all!  (Ferret snatch!)  I have all the Frost rings because they drop in BH Ice Wizard, but I haven't paid attention to my Tempest rings, not really sure where I got them from because I don't go to Lightning Gate (I'm guessing this is where they drop?), plus I'm not a Beatrice user, so I'm not pressed to get them.

Another thing about clan raids, before the server transfer we took pride in keeping the number one rank on the server, but since the transfer, every week the ranking refreshed, and now we only do them when we get a new member who needs them for Family Attribute quests and the occassional member who isn't already Esmero.  Clan raids used to be the only time I really interacted with the clan.  They were short and kinda fun, and it was where I got my Books for Ion quest.  ^^;  (I kind of want to see us finish Curse of Red Sunset Forest, that was one we had difficulty under G1, I'm sure we would have no problem finishing it now.)

Nowadays it's only going to Montoro with clannies.  CT isn't fully clan and neither is ToC.  ToC I tend to have reliable people I ask* and we generally are able to start ASAP without the room having to restart.  (Thank you, timely people!)  Asking in Clan Chat is usually met with a wall of silence.  :<  The clan members for TP runs at night have started to shrink...

Which leads me to the last subject... that I will post next week.  Yeah, I'm pulling American Idol Ryan Seacrest, "The results... when we come back [from commercial break]."  Poor cliff hanger.  This post is getting too long, I figured I would save it for another week.  Or maybe I just want you guys to come back next week.  XD

[*I think I do all right when I try to organize Crow/Back Alley/ToC runs, a few times I did okay with Tigres, but CT takes too many people and I'm just not up for trying to organizing one.  Ferret is not a leader by nature.]

Went on a Clock Tower run.  Those Shining Machina bosses are really just giant metallic crabs!  Controlled by little crabs within them!  :o  (That's what I think anyway!)

Finally got around to checking Day Training Camp.

Neko Invasion

Back to back raids... I felt pooped!  CT all floors, then WC'd at TP Rose (third time, the mini ghosts smashed me and I still don't have a hang of the reapers, but Rose was no problem) and at TP Cortes which was really scary because it was, well, sort of my second time, but the first time was months ago and I wasted a lot of SCs back then and it was in front of a bunch of random people, so it didn't really matter, but this was part clannies and part allies...  x.x  I did okay until the end, not sure what happened then poof, all dead.

Kinda neat to see three black dots of shadow of my wizzies and a dot for Joey pet too!

Hiccuping Chipmunk

Went to check out the bear in the Garden.  I think Fritz learn Hakido from him.  XD

Went to CT as Lisa.  It was a lot of SC spamming.  We only had one character for ET and I didn't get Strat most of the time.  :x  I don't think I did that well, but I expected it, since it was my second time after taking Lisa to a raid.

Comodo Hunt

There was Montoro and LW and CT today.  x.x

Though the most interesting thing was Delia hunting Comodo on the Farm to ...barbeque meat for her brother Laurent? ...make Magic Leather accessories for him? ...to make a stuffed comodo plush for herself?  The possibilities are... scary...  I just know I wouldn't want to stand in this little girl's line of fire...

Mushroom Samba

Finally got my enchantments back!  I ended up spending 199 chips to rechip 15 weapons to something I deemed decent.  There were six 30-some atk/90-some racial and even a 28% 3AR rapier which someone said would be good for Vendetta Valeria (should I magically get her).

Went to CT floors 1 through 10 and then the key for 11th floor didn't drop.  D:  Also went to TP Neph, Cortes, and Jurg.

Took JD, Chels, and Reneia (Heiran) to TP Rose and Nepht.  I think they're pretty good, but I don't like that Chels can't res and have to rely on someone else to res me.  >.<  I'm used to being the reser and not the resee.

Also went to CT as Helena.  It's been so long since I've used an ele-type that I feel like I've forgotten the skills.  :p  Got another Ludin Character Card.  :o

Spent the day in Clock Tower a lot...  First it was going to Floor 9 with a random squad, then it was duo'ing Floor 1.  Good news: It can be done.  Bad news: It takes too much time!  Then went and spammed it again to get the next quest drops.  Now it's just waiting for the last day to go beat some robot ass!  Used Cathy Activator the first time and Helena the second time.

Crafted manufactured a Cube.  I really must be crazy since I had meant those Essences for Kano.  The Essences were saved as part of my Bristia patch preparation, which I was not aware (at the time) of the Cube and what it takes to craft it.  I had help with the crystals and borrowed Essences to make it.  >.<;  It has been a month since the new patch and I've only managed to collect 70-75 of each.  I guess this means a month or so to return borrowed Essences and save up 60 for Kano.  But then there's the problem of the additional 120 to operate the mind linker for four days.  Kano's recruitment is looking to be even more troublesome than Viki's.  Claire was annoying too.  What's with kid requirements giving headaches!  I guess because of this, I decided to get the Cube first.  Either way, it was going to be a long ways to collect.  (Someone said I am perhaps the third person in the clan to manufacture a Cube.  A sure sign that I must be crazy.)

In other news, I took Reneia (Heiran) to TP Jurgen and TP Rose.  Enjoyed watching her stance.  So shiny.  I didn't use this dagger for the raids, but the White Dagger looks nice with her.

Ferret's Carrots

Today was pretty much the repeat of yesterday in terms of doing things with the Clan, the three TPs and Clock Tower.

This time I went as Viki to show him Steamer on Floor 2.  Now I have to go to Floors 1 & 2 again to get mob kill quest drops before I can go to Floor 13.  Viki didn't die as much as I thought he would.  Mostly just when he was trying to ET people and they moved causing Viki to run into blades.  Ouchers!  Viki did his role as RMer at Floor 13.  He got smashed a few times by the stomping clone Autobarons, but was quickly ressed.  According to this guide, it looks like I have to go to CT four more times.  Floors 1 & 2 (mob kills), Floor 13 (as Viki), Floors 1 & 2 (mob kills), and Floors 1 & 2 (mob kills).  Two more weekends I guess until I have Trance Robo.

I forgot to mention (or maybe already mentioned? losing track of things) some characters were promoted to Master.  Tobias (Vincent), Octavia (Cathy INT), Tania (Brunie), and Marcelo (Panfilo).  Working on Sofia (Mia) and Matthias (Jack) next while leveling Juan (Yeganeh)'s stance.

Must... get... Marchetti... and Heyran... so I can level them too...!

We meet again

Helped provide some materials for Symbol of Garim and went to get my Raven/Garcia quest drop done.  The symbol is not necessary to do the raid, but may as well.  Though the roulette was not worth it.  Nobody got anything decent.

Finished the rest of Raven/Garcia quest.  Raven is a bad business man and Garcia is silly for following him.  Also started Marchetti quest.  I might be able to get him on Monday.  Not sure if I can start Heyran quest though.

Went to TP Rose, Neph, and Jurgen.  Found out I can get two Spoil Boxes.  :o

Went to meet Auto Baron again as Mia.  It's boring being Mia and hard to buff people after they start to run away.  I don't know if I've suddenly been demoted from being a DPSer or what, but I really don't want to be Mia again.  At least I made some progress on Viki quest.  I might be able to get it done over the next two to three weekends if the clan goes to CT.

In a rambly list of today's activities.  Clan Raids, weekendies, TP Rose (Stella went up a level after killing Roses, so apparently those things give Exp!), Basement (67/100 favor rate), CT up to Floor 5, Arsene Vault.  Vesped for an hour... it's no fun when only two of the characters do the vesping and you haven't UD gears.  Used Etienne and Watson (STF).

This thing gives me the creeps.

Beginning of the End Part II

Attended Clock Tower with clan (not full squads of 24), we made it to Floor 8 and then took a break.  We then restarted and skipped to Floor 7 and went up to Floor 9.  I got Floor 10 Key and Recipe from roulette.  Taichou said ferret is good at catching keys.  Ferret Snatch!  XD

Went to the last Mufasar 1 and Mufasar 2 of the year, of Orpesia, of Sword 2 era!  Both times Dominator spawned and smashed.  It wasn't fun, but I guess he felt like making last appearance!

Made a visit to Illier to see Rozaaz!  What a pretty team!

At Crow the mobs were Level 131!  My first time with this level, usually it's Level 129 when I go.  They rather hurt my team.  Got debuffed too much.  :x

And finally, the last Clan Raids of the year.  We had great participation and totally rocked the timers and ranked #1 on all but Red Sunset*!  Stats under the cut!

één.  Got a Gold Earring today from BH Sedecram.  Got an Artisan's recipe of some sort from somewhere.

twee.  Went to Clock Tower, hadn't gone in a while forgotten about those nasty blades on one of those floors.

drie.  Clan raids didn't give anything interesting to note.

vier.  I got another Inno ring from Prison that I already have... why can't it give me the ones I don't have?  :\

vijf.  Sent out a few "Random Ferrie Hugs" Vanty and Elsie were the first to to reply.  :D

Adventure Filled Day

Started the day off mellow.  Decided it could be a good upgrading day.  Requested presence of Blue Crane buffer.  And... then, a miracle happened.  My White Bishop got to +7 on the first attempt.  *_*  SO HAPPY.  To make things just as wonderful, I got it to 3S on the first flux.  *_*  YPPAH OS.

I will never, ever, chip, upgrade, socket it without BC presence!  :O

The evening consisted of a Crow Forest (ironic Jewel Powder) run just before Clock Tower, then Clock Tower to Floor 10 (I admit I got impatient, I self buffed and went after mobs instead of waiting for Rio buff :x ), and the series of clan raids (Book of Combat and two Le Scarce Warlock!).

Also attended Clock Tower, skipped a few floors and made it up to Floor 9.  It was pretty good speedy run!

Out Raided

Umm yeah... So much for "I'm only going to go to Clock Tower today".

While we were waiting for Clock Tower squad to get started, we went to Viron Bloody Fog raid with a squad of eight.  I hadn't gone to this raid in ages!  I was a bit worried about Gluttony's raging, but we made it through just fine.  Nothing to exciting dropped, just a bunch of Books of [whatever].

For Clock Tower, we went to Floor 8, Floor 9, Floor 10, and then Floor 11! Dun-dun-dun!!!  That was exciting but confusing because it was my first time in there.  We didn't finish, but it was good experience.  I don't remember what floor, but I got a made Artisan's Leather Belt on a third roulette.  *_*

After this event, Erisia-san wanted to go to Prison raid.  I kidnapped glic-san and Alzeda-chan.  The four of us entered, but Eri-san disconnected!  Orz  The trio of us made it through to the end.  I couldn't really tell if I made any damage on the two Ogres I came across, as glic-san ended up in the cell with me.  Reckless Elsie (Alze-chan) and I took on the Elite Bioman together.  \(^.^)/  We still had plenty of time on the clock when Testormento had 25% left.  I think we would have made it, but all of us ran out of Soul Crystals.  >.<  All in all, it was a good experience.  I felt better knowing Felicia (Reckless) could handle the mobs.  I'm still not sure about my abilities in Ogre cell.  >.<

Some time overnight, my Family Level went up to 45!  \(^.^)/  But ugh...  I found out that each Master level only gives 3%.  All that work for a measly 3%.  I'll never get to Level 50!  D:

Onward to Gears!  Thank you glic-san, LaRo-kun, VANTZ-kami-sama (he who is Chipping God) for providing missing pieces towards the crafting of my Golden Fists and Golden Feet.  The Fists came crafted with 2S.  Woohoo!  Less to socket!  XD

Last but not least!  VANTZ-kami-sama worked his chipping magic.  The Lightening of Rotanev now has 28% atk with 96% Hum.  :o  /glompage to VANTZ  Thank you, thank you.  m(_ _)m

Eri-san, if you're reading this, yes, I still have your Crossbow, my sincere apologies for not returning it immediately after the raid.  I had to scramble off to dinner.  When I got back you went offline.  :x

It was painful... both because Ben wasn't having a good day... they really liked to pick on him today.  Thank you, everyone who res'd and org'd him.  T^T  And also because I had insufferable head and neck pains during the raid.
