Earth 土

Spent mostly a solo day.  Spent too much time killing mobs in Kielce Training Camp for one of the Government Favor quests.  Not doing that again.  Spent time killing Gahbirus for DD hunt.  It was okay, but definitely nicer and faster to duo.

The out-of-the-ordinary-unplanned-was-bored-wanted-to-challenge-myself raid was Mufasar.  Plus it didn't cost me any Runes.  :p  I've never soloed it back in the old days and I took my usual team of JD/Musk/Emi.  I was lucky, Dominator didn't spawn.  I didn't have Human racial weapons at all.  Took me I think eight minutes to finish, simple ET buffs.

(Yeah, yeah, someone's going to say it could have been faster with magic characters, blah, blah, blah.  I don't have fire or ice bracelets and my LOEs are outdated.  Why can't I take a team I'm comfortable with and enjoy using?  Maybe I feel like challenging myself instead of making everything easy by having magic users?  Someone recently told me some players quit playing because they got everything; everything is easy and they got bored from lack of challenge.)

Beginning of the End Part II

Attended Clock Tower with clan (not full squads of 24), we made it to Floor 8 and then took a break.  We then restarted and skipped to Floor 7 and went up to Floor 9.  I got Floor 10 Key and Recipe from roulette.  Taichou said ferret is good at catching keys.  Ferret Snatch!  XD

Went to the last Mufasar 1 and Mufasar 2 of the year, of Orpesia, of Sword 2 era!  Both times Dominator spawned and smashed.  It wasn't fun, but I guess he felt like making last appearance!

Made a visit to Illier to see Rozaaz!  What a pretty team!

At Crow the mobs were Level 131!  My first time with this level, usually it's Level 129 when I go.  They rather hurt my team.  Got debuffed too much.  :x

And finally, the last Clan Raids of the year.  We had great participation and totally rocked the timers and ranked #1 on all but Red Sunset*!  Stats under the cut!

New Species of Fish Discovered!

Out of the five Clan Raids today, we ranked #1 on four of them (one of them was a tie).  One more Sunday to go!  Hope we also attempt Red Sunset.  We're on the ranking as #3.

Tried out the Human pistol at Mufasar today.  Both times received good loot! \(^.^)/

Vesped my alt (under SG) a bit higher today.  It took ten minutes to vesp two Lv 1 characters to Vet.  I used Laurent, Claudia, and Renton (Viki) and each one took fifteen seconds.  Renton was promoted to Master today!

Afterwards, I helped vesp two families up a bit (no SG), using Laurent, Claudia, and Watson (he made use of the UD dagger!) and it took ten seconds per vesp.  I consider this pretty good, because I think I use fairly minimum buffs.  AM Boost, Pink loli, Leadership Lv11, Flare Lv12, Principal Lv12, and Lv11 Stra/Org/Logi.  I don't use any wings and I don't know what else other people use.  :o

Was asked how I could stand vesping "during FrankenFerret™ mode".

Well... while it may appear as though I enjoy vesping, I actually do not...

Things that help pass the time and not think of it as a daunting task:
* Listening to music and singing along
* Having someone to chat with
* Thinking about the end result, that vesping will help family character level up and also the alt (SG)
* Also had two special projects during the event and it was very, very worth the time and effort spent vesping

It also helps that it only takes ten seconds per vesp.  Back in the old days it used to take me thirty seconds!  I wouldn't have done three hours straight (with mini little ferret's room breaks, of course) with that kind of timing!  D:

Had crazy occurrence today (once in a blue moon!), which would probably not repeat itself again.

Rare occurrence of back to back Mufasar!  Nothing special dropped and Domi stomped both times.  T.T  But at least I had the opportunity to go.  :)

Tonight is maintenance!  Tomorrow we shall find out what the Christmas event will be.  :o

Wishing Upon a Star

A rather busy day: CM, Viron Box, BH, Circus, Papa Broccoli [Uncle Celery needs to die too], Mufasar 1, Chipping, Boxing, AW, FF, Prison, and Mufasar 2.  Le Pooped!  (>x.x)>  Zombie Ferret

Prison was fun, went with players I haven't gone with before, including Miss Lusse.  Whom I believe was my lucky charm for roulette.  No one volunteered to open the chest, so I nominated her.  ^.^;  And because of her charming aura, I got a Elite Soul of Steel to add to my 92e Baron collection!!!  *_*  Thank you!  \(^.^)/  First time getting two good things, usually it's useless gloves and boots.

 Borrowed a beautiful Highlander's Claymore to try out during the run.

 

Timed Mufasar 2 to be killed during CW buff, even took the time to kill Domi, who spawned during this run, because of trying to delay Mufasar's death.  Two decent things dropped, but the Magic Leather Glove recipe still elusive.  (Assuming that drops there, I don't know, as I don't go to Mufasar often enough, but a girl can dream, no?)

It's Alive!

Muah hahaha!

The title should be, "It is complete!"  I finished crafting my last Serpent weapon for the year!  The Serpent Javelin.  :D

Of my 100e collection, two were gifts (Serpent Cannon and Chess Blunt) and one was from a Prison Roulette (Serpent Staff), the rest I crafted!  Whoa...  :o  Oh, and I purchased a second Serpent Pistol, pew pew pew!

Now I just need to keep eye out for the 100e Lightening, Fire, and Ice bracelets on MM, then I will truly be finished with the 100e series!

I almost didn't make it to Mufasar today, as I was still stuck in traffic getting home from work.  >.<;  Dominator didn't show up, which always nice!

It's Show Time!

I lost track of time!  Today marks two years and seven months* that I have been playing this game (June 19, 2010)!  It's a little over half the month, but I've made a lot of progress already on the November Goals!
*Would have quit long before, had it not been for Senpai.

I think I'm about to go on a crafting rampage...  I took stock and found that I am short three Chess (Blunt, Sword, Greatsword) and two Serpent (Javelin, Shotgun) weapons to complete those sets.  I'm making it a goal to craft them (I don't see any on market).  Like when I was a noob last year, my goal was to craft/purchase all twenty one Trump series.  I'm still a noob, so this year's goal is to complete the 100e collection (minus the bracelets, because Ziz pieces are impossible and people must be hoarding the bracelets for next patch).  No, next year's goal will not be crafting all Constellations.  That would be insane for me.

I feel kind of pathetic actually, because I think everyone in the clan has already graduated from 100e weapons and moved on to 33AR Constellation, Angel, and Jewel weapons.  I own one Constellation* Lightening Bracelet (which I don't carry), one Angel Knuckle (which I don't use), and one Jewel Pistol (which I forget to use).  Sometimes it's a wonder why I'm still in the clan.  O_o;
*Still contemplating crafting a Constellation Pistol, as I still have that set collecting up dust since last year.

I don't know, I like to collect weapons now (similar to collecting costumes), I like having one of each kind.  I remember people used to harp on me all the time, "You have to have a main team and start getting weapons and gears just for them."  I didn't play by that rule... it felt kind of limiting.  :x

It took me a long time to find a trio I was comfortable using.  For awhile it was Caly/Ele/Sco because they were the highest level characters I had and they were said to be good for ToC.  I got bored with them after extended use, plus they were starting to max out.  Next, I leveled up Helena/Emi.  I used Raven for awhile because I loved to shoot things and Croisement was cool.  Lionel came around and my team became Lionel/Helena/Emi.  I even used Lionel on Outrage for the longest time because I didn't have Punisher.  A couple people laughed at me for using Lionel on Outrage.  What could I do?  Punisher wasn't exactly raining like rabbits before the Alphabet Event.  I enjoyed Outrage anyway, I loved Outrage on my duo muskies.  Pew pew pew always in my <3 !

I'm busy with work and I travel a lot for work, so I'm not able to be active in the game.  I'm fairly satisfied today with what I can do, all things considered.

This was a rather rambly post... more so than usual anyway.

Today's Events
*Experienced a lot of lag spikes.  I DC'd in BH Sedecram.  I was about to warp to the next zone.  T.T
*Attended Mufasar!  I haven't gone in a super long time.  It went smoothly, no Domi appearance, therefore no smash-a-roo.  Though for some reason Emi missed WC with Level 12... wth?
*Was gifted an Elite Antique Pistol to add to Baron collection!  \(^.^)/  Twelve more to go!

Meat Meat Carnivore Lapin

It's been, what feels like, ages, since I went to Mufasar!  I went with a maxed out Laurent, Claudia, Anastasia.  Not sure if it made a difference to go with maxed out characters, but there weren't any smashing today, no Dominator either!

Started working on the next project.  I really must be out of it this week because I failed to start the SG and wondered why the heck it took so long for Dr. Watson to level up.  (baka~baka~baka~Ferret!)  -.-#

Was gifted Brunie's Angelica Hat!  ^.^  I started looking forward to this costume when I saw it on the loading screen along with the Male Wizard's Capitaine Costume.  I'm excited it finally came out!  Now to wait for the price for it to go down...  So far I've only seen one on market for 100m.  :x

Foresaken Ferret

Agent Donatella investigates the unconscious body of Etienne after a case of hit and run.  In an interview with Katia, she stated, "I'm not aware that he has any enemies, but I have heard that there were negative comments about his recent hair color and style... perhaps that triggered this incident?"

In other news, Domi was the worst ever yesterday at Mufasar.  One certain team member was targeted constantly.  It became like a dance routine.  Smash-Dead-Res-Smash-Dead-Res-tap-tap-tap-skip!

Today's BH gave an Artisan's recipe.  No recipes, give me 96e weapons instead, because now they're accumulating.  :p  I have eight out of twenty-one.  Shotgun, Greatsword, Shield, Pistol, Rapier, Javelin, Main-Gauche, Instrument

Mists of Ice

Tried out Portia (Adelina) at Circus today.  It was a good change of pace versus using Claudia, which was starting to get boring because it was getting repetitive.  Also had an observer, Monsieur Gio (aka Mr. Hot Pants who better watch out for Mama Cougar's paws).

Prison gave me a third Restore Ring.  I would have much rather have a Redemption Ring as I don't have one yet.

Mad dashed to an unscheduled Mufasar.  :o  Domi was especially tantrum-y today.  D:

Attended ToC.  I need to find an alternate for Salvatore (Ralph) because he got to Master 10 today...  If I had a worthy polearm I'd take Patricia (Idge).  Or I start bringing support characters!  Le Shock!  o.o!

I got Feast on the fifth attempt!  ^.^v  Thank you Senpai for the Relics!

A clannie's White Tiger pet wanted to play with Renton (Viki).  It was so cute!  :D

Rarity Metallic Shimmer

Ferret was going to early sleep after Mufasar* to early get up to study all day Saturday.  *Domi smashed too much.

But Taichou, Vanty, and a clannie all PM'd Ferret three times each over the course of half an hour.  It felt pretty urgent...

So Ferret got team dressed up quick as she could and scampered to ToC.

Nothing special in roulette.  Gold Earring and Elite Trump Rapier, which Ferret threw 30 Lv96 chips on but got nothing and now have to somehow farm for Lv96 chips again.  -.-;

Ferret got a good laugh out of this dialogue.  The squad was at Queen.

Fascinating Rhythm

Went on an early Prison run.  It started off with five people, but one had to leave, found another replacement, who also ended up leaving.  We went with four, but one got disconnected.  So ended up with three at the end.  (Yes, Ferret knows how to add and subtract!)  Still spending way too much time ring swapping and buffing with this new team.  I have GOT to learn to do this faster.  :\  I dislike being the slowest.

Attended an unscheduled Mufasar.  Dominator made an appearance.  Boo hiss!  Got stomped on a bit, but no deaths.  X<

Clan Raids started off short handed, so I went Salvatore (Ralph), Claudia, and Ana because of Life mod on Salvatore.  Swapped to UD mod for Mad U to kill KOCs.  Then swapped to Triple WC for Griffon.  There was slightly less death today because I got better at positioning.  But Mercurcio (Male Wizard) has 50% chance of being slashed and killed because he is wearing the lowest armor (96e +6 3DR).  The last Clan Raid was V for which I have no Hum weapons.  I figured it didn't matter who I brought as long as they hit fast and hit hard.  I went with my MUSKIES!  RAWR!  :3  lovelovelove~!  I miss them everyday.  D:

Another good day without Domi smash at Mufasar.  ^.^v  A Crafted Necklace recipe dropped, I already have this one and have yet to craft the five other types... so... recipes are nice, but not great when I haven't ability to craft them.  :<

Other than that, started M'Boma extended quests.  Panfilo asks for the strangest things to make something to cheer up M'Boma.  I mean, gallbladders?  eww!

Ran into this fellow whilst searching for Jack O'Lantern on Fire Isle.

Brown Eyed Ferret

Several individual and small squad raidings today.

No Domi appearance at Mufasar.  Yesh!  :D

Making progress in Prison with the new team mix, managed to buff faster than the day before.  It's kind of silly though, I verbally say to myself out loud: "Ana Org Pric Org, Claudi Flare remove brace, Feli Amp, Ana DVB rings buff, pink loli.  And away we go!"  XD  I had two full ogre rooms and entered half way on a third.  Ogre rooms need a little more practice.  DVB didn't seem to be functioning correctly.  Was bad about keeping PF, so team got smashed at Testo.

Killed a Griffon today, but he didn't appreciate being slaughtered so he only gave me one box and it was an Aqua.  What, you want me to have an army of Flintlock users?  *sigh*

Crafted a Chess Rapier which came out 2S!  *_*  Unfortunately, my Master Pack ran out and I am still 11 Snail Shells short of a Serpent Bayonet.  :<

Finished Mia Extended Quests and triggered the other ones.

Was cleaning Leo to make room for inventory when I came across my four Silver Strikers.  So shiny.  So pretty.  Brings back memories.  One pair was given to me as a present when they first came out.  The first present I ever got in the game.  I never thought someone would give me something in the game.  Not only did they give me one, which was quite enough, they gave me two, because they knew how much I loved these pistols.  I was so moved that I cried.  Just thinking about it right now brought tears.  There are certainly a lot of nice people to me in the game.  I try to give back when I can.

Once in a Blue Moon

No Domi smash at Mufasar, which is always a good thing.  A nice belt recipe dropped, but not the one I wish to work on first (Magic Belt), but a belt recipe nonetheless.

Mostly excited that only need Tempest quest item now.  Went on one run and got two quest items. ^.^

Geia got smashed too much at Prison.  I don't know who has her earrings and necklace.  Managed to reach next round of MQs.  \(^.^)/

What's the deal with same items in roulette today?  >_>'

 

That's it for today.  This weekend is going to be focus on studying in the afternoons.

Le Scarce not too scarce?

Went to ToC and got a Le Scarce Scout that came with 3DR!  :o  Seems a shame to break it for crystal, so I'll just hang on to it for now!

And the usual daily chaos.  Plus Mufasar didn't have Domi smash, which is always a a bonus!  :D

Acorn Behind Chair

Stayed home from work today.  Hadn't had a day off since early June and really needed to take a break.  Studied too, did pretty well on the section, but only 1/5 of the material, so I mustn't let my guard down.

Sword-wise, crafted Magic Shoes today!  *_*  Second pair of decent shoes!  T.T

Started leveling Tania (Brunie) and Darian (Garcia) to Expert.  Army of Musks!  Unite!
Pierre finished all his pre-vet and vet stances (including Bareknuckles, ahuehuehue!), used an Aries and now he's working on Tronada Cruz.

Made it to Mufasar.  :o  Even LG.  :o

(How come the few times I've gone, the LG weapon has been the Gaiter? D:)

Also, practiced Triple WC at Angler (third time at this boss) with Senpai.  Got some good practice!  I still need more practice, but starting to build my own rhythm.  Looking to apply this to ToC sometime.  Thank you for your time and patience in training me Senpai!

Attended Friday Mufasar with Senpai (the only time I make it to this raid).  Dominator didn't show up so no smash-o-rama.  d(' . ' d)

Got kidnapped during Circus to go to ToC.  Having already already maxed out Helena, it was suggested that I try Idge.  I think for the most part she didn't die, but was useless during Queen third form because of no Invul.  My mouse went a little rogue and I was multitasking with eating my dinner.

Was trying to finish my CMs, but was kidnapped yet again, for Crow.  >.>

Sorry folks, but I really need to start studying for this next major exam which is going to be at least five times more difficult than the previous one, so I'm going to have to start saying, "No, sorry, I can't go."  Otherwise I won't get any studying done.  :\  Going to have to be like this until I start scoring well on the preliminary exams.  Which could be indefinitely.  >.<  (Coach is going to slap me upside the head for saying that.)

Which got me to thinking about my abilities in this game.  I'm completely ashamed that I still only have Level 11 ET, unlike everyone else I know who works with Level 12.  It took me a long time just to craft one.  I'm still lacking in Accessory type stuff.  -.-  I think I've tried enough to catch up, but I'm eating people's dust again.  :<  (I feel small compared to my clannies.)

To sum up: I still feel very inadequate.  :\

The only thing I think I'm good at is Prison, but I have to concentrate which means I can't chat or read any sort of chat while I'm raiding it.  I feel completely ashamed if any of my characters die during the raid, so I really have to focus on keeping them alive.  (That infernal patch of lag doesn't help either!!!)

Gear wise, I like my three bracelets.  I like my three pistols.  I'm kind of tired using of Eles, they're great, but my heart has always belonged to Musks, even though my poor darlings are sitting in Quarters collecting dust.  :<  I kind of want to play with Reckless again, but the only place I've ever used her was Clan Raids Red Sunset.  :\

Again, no nice screencaps.  Today was all raid after raid after raid, no time for poses.  :x  And exhausted as usual.

London Exclusive Cookies!

Busy raid evening for a Friday...  I sped home from work and was late to Cortes.  Ferret should change professions and become a race car driver and get a Ferrari... the way she's been speeding to get home...  >.>;

Cortes was okay.  I was in the second squad consisting of cannons who were mostly at their posts.  When I got hit by Nephtys or Cortes I kinda had to rely on James to res me, though most of the time he was busy scarfing down chilli from his restaurant.  (ahuehuehue)

Went to Circus and tested out the White Bishop by seeing how many Honors I could Tenseness.  Usually I don't splash more than six at a time, but I was able to do up to ten.

Next, went to Musafar with Senpai.  I tagged today.  o.o!   Le shock!  A Crafted Necklace recipe and Magic Leather Boots recipe dropped.  Along with this!  Never got anything 1DR from a direct drop, so this was friggin' awesome!  *_*  Now Katia doesn't have to go to clan raids wearing the 96e 2DR coat!

Prison followed these two raids.  I was successful with getting Abyss to go without suffering lag or death.  But the lag followed me to the ogre warp and I died.  -.-  To make up for it though, my roulette rolled a Whisper of the Forest (staff)!!!  I was trying to decide which Serpent weapon to craft next, it was either going to be the polearm or the staff.  This saved me from having to decide!  \(^.^)/

The last raid I attended was Lightening Gate with the clan.  I haven't gone in ages.  My camera pan can cause me to get lag behind and therefore lost.  Sometimes I get stuck and end up accidentally clicking on the warp and going backwards.  Thank goodness Yoshi came in and led me through the maze.  (Even though he called me slow!  >O)  Alas, the LG weapon was one I already had, so I didn't try to FC for it.
