Midnight Snacks, it's what we do!

Here are a few highlights for the past week!

Went on a CT run and on the 12th floor Punisher was rolling, but alas, it was not to be.  Constantin (Kaisse) is without that stance.  :<  The poor guy only has Flintlock and was leveled to Master with Outrage.  ^^;  What can I say, I'm frugal, conserving my vis for other things instead of buying bullets for Flintlock.  In any case, Outrage is better to use for AFK leveling.

Still keeping eye out for last two old cash costumes and the hair for Mifuyu.  Was gifted a fiery weapon costume!  *_*  Except that Isabella (BSI) uses a greatsword instead of polearm, so not likely to see the costume.  Secret!Hidden!Weapon!Costume!  ;3

Crafted another Artifact!  I received help with the Soft Cotton Yarn.  (Thank you!!!)  I've been doing my best to keep up with Durant quests in hopes of getting Artifact materials.  Sometimes I get lazy...  It takes me about three ET buffs with Francois (Ion) and Octavia (Cathy INT) running up and down collecting up mobs and AOE'ing.  Next goal is to reach 100 Royal Insignia.

Attended Fury Sekhmet and got a Magama Storm Ring (Ludin's Efreet skill)!  :o  I've only started to go recently because I happen to be around.  From the sounds of it, the roll rate is low?  It's going to be like Pokemon, gotta catch them all!  (Ferret snatch!)  I have all the Frost rings because they drop in BH Ice Wizard, but I haven't paid attention to my Tempest rings, not really sure where I got them from because I don't go to Lightning Gate (I'm guessing this is where they drop?), plus I'm not a Beatrice user, so I'm not pressed to get them.

Another thing about clan raids, before the server transfer we took pride in keeping the number one rank on the server, but since the transfer, every week the ranking refreshed, and now we only do them when we get a new member who needs them for Family Attribute quests and the occassional member who isn't already Esmero.  Clan raids used to be the only time I really interacted with the clan.  They were short and kinda fun, and it was where I got my Books for Ion quest.  ^^;  (I kind of want to see us finish Curse of Red Sunset Forest, that was one we had difficulty under G1, I'm sure we would have no problem finishing it now.)

Nowadays it's only going to Montoro with clannies.  CT isn't fully clan and neither is ToC.  ToC I tend to have reliable people I ask* and we generally are able to start ASAP without the room having to restart.  (Thank you, timely people!)  Asking in Clan Chat is usually met with a wall of silence.  :<  The clan members for TP runs at night have started to shrink...

Which leads me to the last subject... that I will post next week.  Yeah, I'm pulling American Idol Ryan Seacrest, "The results... when we come back [from commercial break]."  Poor cliff hanger.  This post is getting too long, I figured I would save it for another week.  Or maybe I just want you guys to come back next week.  XD

[*I think I do all right when I try to organize Crow/Back Alley/ToC runs, a few times I did okay with Tigres, but CT takes too many people and I'm just not up for trying to organizing one.  Ferret is not a leader by nature.]

Attended Clan Raids to continue with Family Attribute quest.  Tried out a few different trios but at the end of the day, I feel most comfortable using JosephDominic and Alicia.  It has to be in that order, it doesn't work as well when I have them reversed.

Went to TP Rose with Heiran and Cathy Int, but here I also felt meh.  Suddenly it feels like I did a 180.  Used to use shooters and elementalists, now I feel rusty.  It doesn't help that I feel my bracelets are shotty.

Was going to keep the same team for TP Sautarelle, but just did not feel like bringing Cathy.  :\  I didn't care anymore if I got in trouble for bringing a non-magic character to TP (clan leader has a rule about bringing magic characters).  I. just. could. not. do. it.  >.<;

I went to Medusa with JD and Alicia.  It's been a long time!  She died quickly.

On a side note, it was hard to do Barrol quest with Asoka and Musk and Scout.

It was worth it though.  I do feel somewhat like I've accomplished things!  All characters available have been recruited and all stances available have been obtained!  I think really good for three months.

✿ Obtained Fleuret Glacier Stance Book (1st day: Le Dig Scout / 2nd day: Le Dig Musk + 5 Sewing Boxes / 3rd day: 5 Sewing Boxes + Elementalist Rob Costumes/Clara Mago Costume/Le Blanc Costume)  Was lucky I had the first two from Costume Boxes, but Le Blanc is a Rank 1 costume I had to buy recipe and craft.  Added to Tracker.

In a rambly list of today's activities.  Clan Raids, weekendies, TP Rose (Stella went up a level after killing Roses, so apparently those things give Exp!), Basement (67/100 favor rate), CT up to Floor 5, Arsene Vault.  Vesped for an hour... it's no fun when only two of the characters do the vesping and you haven't UD gears.  Used Etienne and Watson (STF).

This thing gives me the creeps.

 We lost our tank during the CT run.

The suggestion in the Chat box cracked me up.

Octavia does have Crusader completed

and I did have my blunt and shield on me.  XD

Loony

We had clan raids today and we tried out the clan raid version of Autobaron.  Everyone did well, the tank, wc, support, and dps.  But I didn't feel that it was worth the nearly one hour spent on it because the roulette was not worth the effort.  Red Sunset is long too, but at least after every boss you got a roulette, whereas Autobaron just kept respawning after we fixed him.  >.<;

Did some weekendies, but alas, that Montoro Ring, it rolled, but just doesn't want to be snatched by Ferret.

My first time really looking at the surroundings in Rhapsody of Deadman.  It's a rather lovely lagoon cave.

Running Around

We finally did Clan Raids this week.  We ranked #1 in all but one that we attended.  :D

Went to the new Arsene Vault.  Those Straw Dolls are creepy.  :o

Also went to Secret Tower for the first time.  Knocked out the quests for Adelina (the one for Blitz Assault) and Cruise.  (Love it when I can get two quests done at the same time.)

Started Tora quest, but the combat with the Mages is difficult.  Didn't help when the mobs all congregated in the quest spot and I lost one of the characters.  To be attempted again tomorrow.  Too late now.  zzz

For got to post this yesterday.  Queen Hamaan looks really unattractive with her legs apart like that.  :p  Unqueenly like.

Beginning of the End Part II

Attended Clock Tower with clan (not full squads of 24), we made it to Floor 8 and then took a break.  We then restarted and skipped to Floor 7 and went up to Floor 9.  I got Floor 10 Key and Recipe from roulette.  Taichou said ferret is good at catching keys.  Ferret Snatch!  XD

Went to the last Mufasar 1 and Mufasar 2 of the year, of Orpesia, of Sword 2 era!  Both times Dominator spawned and smashed.  It wasn't fun, but I guess he felt like making last appearance!

Made a visit to Illier to see Rozaaz!  What a pretty team!

At Crow the mobs were Level 131!  My first time with this level, usually it's Level 129 when I go.  They rather hurt my team.  Got debuffed too much.  :x

And finally, the last Clan Raids of the year.  We had great participation and totally rocked the timers and ranked #1 on all but Red Sunset*!  Stats under the cut!

New Species of Fish Discovered!

Out of the five Clan Raids today, we ranked #1 on four of them (one of them was a tie).  One more Sunday to go!  Hope we also attempt Red Sunset.  We're on the ranking as #3.

Tried out the Human pistol at Mufasar today.  Both times received good loot! \(^.^)/

Vesped my alt (under SG) a bit higher today.  It took ten minutes to vesp two Lv 1 characters to Vet.  I used Laurent, Claudia, and Renton (Viki) and each one took fifteen seconds.  Renton was promoted to Master today!

Afterwards, I helped vesp two families up a bit (no SG), using Laurent, Claudia, and Watson (he made use of the UD dagger!) and it took ten seconds per vesp.  I consider this pretty good, because I think I use fairly minimum buffs.  AM Boost, Pink loli, Leadership Lv11, Flare Lv12, Principal Lv12, and Lv11 Stra/Org/Logi.  I don't use any wings and I don't know what else other people use.  :o

Was asked how I could stand vesping "during FrankenFerret™ mode".

Well... while it may appear as though I enjoy vesping, I actually do not...

Things that help pass the time and not think of it as a daunting task:
* Listening to music and singing along
* Having someone to chat with
* Thinking about the end result, that vesping will help family character level up and also the alt (SG)
* Also had two special projects during the event and it was very, very worth the time and effort spent vesping

It also helps that it only takes ten seconds per vesp.  Back in the old days it used to take me thirty seconds!  I wouldn't have done three hours straight (with mini little ferret's room breaks, of course) with that kind of timing!  D:

Had crazy occurrence today (once in a blue moon!), which would probably not repeat itself again.

Angels & Grims

Crammed the activities in the evening, as I was trying to study during the day (I want to cry), starting with Clan Raids at around 14:30 SST.

Was lent a set of Life mod rifle and pistol for Laurent, but I only used them at Mad Farm and Mad U, as I was on WC duty for Mad Raff, Mad V, and Mad Griff.  Which was sad, because that was a very nice pair of weapons and would have liked to have more opportunity to try them out along with Valen's Life crossbow.  Laurent ended up tanking the KOGs in Mad U.  Normally he would have died within seconds, but he's wearing an enhanced armor.  :D  (Very happy, thank you so much!)  One LS Musk and two DHrs.  Would have liked an Aries for a project.  :o

We have two more Sundays to do Clan Raids, so I really hope we get more clan participation.  I'd like to see us Rank 1 in all the raids.  We haven't done Red Sunset in awhile either.

Spammed some boxes (switched different characters and locations for luck!), went to Circus, and BH.  Tried out Laurent and Claudia in full UD gear, used Lv 11 Leadership, Flare, and ET buffs (yes, because I'm still a crappy noob who only has one ET ring), Black Dragon, and a pink loli.  Was surprised to find that team finished off Necro in less than two minutes.  Still no Magic Leather Glove recipe and starting to feel desperate.

Went to Prison with almost same crowd as yesterday.  Got LaRo to come long, for as long as I've known him, it's my first time going to Prison with him.  You'd think I was an evil dentist drilling his teeth when I try to ask him to go to Prison.  >p  Had a lag spike at the usual left spot and Claudia got smashed.  *sigh*

I totally forgot Philip's (Eduardo) Grim is Lv124.

A Jellyfish Floating Aimlessly

Yay!  I finished nine expert stances this weekend before bedtime on Sunday.  Le pooped.  D:

The last three took extra time because someone was KS'ing me, taking over my spot, which I had been at for hours.  One of their characters ended up being stuck with mobs attacking but not attacking back.  After about an hour of this, I moved myself to where their unattacking character was standing.  I stepped away to help my mom with something, came back, and they put an Angler on me.  Seriously... you're the one who KS'd me in the first place, then you have the nerve to Angler me?  There are a lot of players with no etiquette.  :\

Clan Raids: There weren't many of us during Mad Farm and I should have brought Valen (Caly) instead of Laurent.  I was asked to WC for Rafflesia, which was scary for me as I'd only done it once before and not very good at positioning.  But we managed through it.  (It made more sense for me to WC instead of DPS, as I consider myself to have piss poor DPS.)  I switched Laurent with Valen (Life mods) for Mad U, I think we did this efficiently, the squad size grew a bit, and we ranked one!  I went back to WC for Griffon (more WC experience at this).  I started to get lag spikes, but we managed through the Insane Griffon, and ranked one as well!  Sharf was very laggy for me and I was surprised we didn't die too much; this is another one I've only WC'd once before.  Taichou came to WC for Sekhmet (saying I had better DPS than her, which I highly doubt, but no way I was going to WC Sek since I've never done it before and my lag spikes would be detrimental to the well being of the squad) so I went back to Laurent (Golem mods) et al.  I wonder if we would attempt Red Sunset one last time before the end!

Clan Raids are about the only time I go through "wardrobe" changes with my team like at a rock concert.  (Lady Gaga wardrobe changes?)  I guess that makes Claudia and Anastasia the background dancers, as they rarely change.  XD

To end the week, I finally got around to dragging the boys out of Quarters (actually, only Ben needed to be pulled by his ear, Merc and Etienne did not need to be told twice) to screencap the ones with completed Capitaine set.  No Pierre (Fig) or Alberto (Sco) yet.

Getting Cold Outside

Another week done!  Good progress this week crafting and leveling stances.  Also got something to +7, trying just about once a day all week.  ^.^

Helped to craft something really awesome!

Went to Clan Raids which had a lot of lag for several people.  We almost all died from Griffon because of lag.  >.<  Got a Cancer and two DHrs.

After that we went to Crow and I got a Symbol of Naraka.  Haven't gotten one of these in a long time.

Something I don't want to lose

Whee!  I ended up crafting the Serpent Main-Gauche thanks to Fox-san providing some Snail Shells!  :D  Too bad... only Grandice and Racel would make use of them in the future and even then, Grandice would end up using Greatsword and Racel would use Dagger instead.

I exchanged a bunch of roughs and got a fair amount of GQ and HQ Spods and Obs!

I got a Capri from exchanging Ancient Gold Relic Pieces!  Even though symbols are practically worth nothing now, it's still nice to get something sort of for free.  It's rare to get a symbol from Exchanger, so I feel pretty happy about it.

We did six out of seven Clan Raids today and even finished Sekhmet in 9:41 minutes!  *_*  Go Halcyon!  I got a LS from one of the raids.  :)

Diamond Dust

Today's Bounty Hunter was like a "Le Blanc Fest"; rolled a couple of those.  Better than Tokens I suppose!  ^.^;

Clan Raids gave me DHrs.  I have far too many of those.  D:  Why can't I get symbols or Le Scarce instead?  Not that I have any ELNrs or GCrs or Upgrade Accelerators to upgrade with...

I've been keeping an eye on the Serpent Plate for Female Fighter costume, it's dropped by 100m since it first came out, but 80m is still kinda high.  D:

Ferret has a sore throat.  Worried that I'm getting sick.  Sigh.  I need more sleep.  Maybe I won't get sickly so often.  There's just not enough hours in the day for my work day and playing the game and sleeping.  Something's going to be put on the wayside.

Rose's Legacy

Was out having family togetherness time.  :o

BH gave me a Cut Psychokinesis Necklace!  It's always nice when an accessory comes out crafted already.  ^.^;

Missed out on a few clan raids because I was at dinner.  I got a Rare Book of Shooting, which completes my collection of 50 of each type of those books.  Also got a Taurus, one down and eight more to go.  :x

No screencaps to share, just haven't had the time to be active in the game.

Chicken Broccoli Bake

Starting to feel like I'm off my game, like suddenly a step behind what I'm capable of.  I find myself forgetting to do this and that.  Do skills recede?  D:

When the Sun Goes Down Ferret Comes Out to Play

Caught up on some real life stuff and even stayed up late to clean up some inventory (too many poorly modded gloves and shoes), but still have a lot of inventory clean up to do.

Went to LG raid, didn't get lost, which is always a nice feeling.  It was a nearly full squad so my chances of winning FC for the Lightening Sword was slim to none (didn't win in case anyone was wondering).

Clan Raids gave me a Dragon Heart recipe (not that I really need this), Leo, Pisces, and Capricorn.  Very nice!  (Where are my Scorpio and Taurus though?  D: )

We almost didn't have enough people for a late evening ToC run, so we went to Crow first.

I went as Triple WC with the shiny new Miss Stella (ETS).  I actually did all right at Dominator, the one I fear the most.  Teslacoil was a bit messy when the clones came out.  Mercurcio (Male Wizard) kept getting smashed even though he was wearing a good ELB.  Our tanker DC'd during Jellyfish.  Ginger (go, go tiger-kun!) and another clannie took turns kiting Jelly.  I got a chance to practice WC, so it was all good.  It's been awhile.

I crashed before I got too far into the last raid I attended for the evening.  After doing the posing in HWC, I suddenly went poof!  (What is with the crashing too, when I was trying to get to Castilla Temple, I kept crashing repeatedly and was nearly the last one to get to Temple.  :x )

Silk of the Butterfly

Found the Serpent Plate costume for really cheap!  Hopefully next box will reissue Gloriosa and I'll be caught up with "new" costumes!

Attended one last Circus run with character when he finished his Expert stance.

Then massacred vesps until he was Master.

I think between the two characters I probably vesped for five hours in total*.  Not bad at all to get them to the Master level they ended at and roughly 36 hours between the two to get all stances maxed (including Expert).  I had fun with this project!  Didn't think it was going to finish in three days, but it happened!  \(^.^)/

*I probably wouldn't have done all this vesping if I wasn't able to kill them 10-15 seconds.  If I had Level 12 ET and UD wings or other potions I might have been able to do it even faster.  I heard of people vesping in 5 seconds.  So pro.

Clan raids got me the Pisces I needed!  Now just need three Scorpios and five Taurus!  Also got a Le Scarce too!  :D

Did a Griffon instance which gave me two Constellation Boxes and even Rafflesia which gave me one Box (it never gave me boxes all the previous times, so I hadn't been keen on going).  Alas, no symbols that I needed.

Fascinating Rhythm

Went on an early Prison run.  It started off with five people, but one had to leave, found another replacement, who also ended up leaving.  We went with four, but one got disconnected.  So ended up with three at the end.  (Yes, Ferret knows how to add and subtract!)  Still spending way too much time ring swapping and buffing with this new team.  I have GOT to learn to do this faster.  :\  I dislike being the slowest.

Attended an unscheduled Mufasar.  Dominator made an appearance.  Boo hiss!  Got stomped on a bit, but no deaths.  X<

Clan Raids started off short handed, so I went Salvatore (Ralph), Claudia, and Ana because of Life mod on Salvatore.  Swapped to UD mod for Mad U to kill KOCs.  Then swapped to Triple WC for Griffon.  There was slightly less death today because I got better at positioning.  But Mercurcio (Male Wizard) has 50% chance of being slashed and killed because he is wearing the lowest armor (96e +6 3DR).  The last Clan Raid was V for which I have no Hum weapons.  I figured it didn't matter who I brought as long as they hit fast and hit hard.  I went with my MUSKIES!  RAWR!  :3  lovelovelove~!  I miss them everyday.  D:

Chaotic Specifications

Went to Prison with new team again, but had them in the wrong ordering, so that messed up the buffing a bit, but I did get faster at buffing.

Rebuff at warp point: Reset ET/Org rings then to DVB rings.  Put on PF ring before ogre room (forgot about that today).  Bleh!  Ring swapping is no fun.  Ferret only has so many fingers on her paws.  :o

I had one ogre cell and am happy to report that I made it out alive today as well.  ^.^;  Felicia got smashed by Testo because I forgot to PF.  >.<;

We had a low showing at Clan Raids today.  Instead of taking my lovely muskies I went with Salvatore (Ralph), Claudia, and Ana for more DPS.  I triple WC'd with Taichou at Griffon.  I didn't have any problems landing the initial WC, but I did a poor job of placing the trio (Griffons were a bit unstable, slashed more wildly than previous week) so Casandria and Mercurcio got smashed.  Clannies were quick to res them though, so that helped a lot.  Thank you!  :D  I even tagged a few items, including a Provoke ring (uh, no... let me get the hang of triple WC before I even attempt to be a tanker... maybe in like 10 years!!!)  Threw both my Provoke rings on Borus (Coimbra).

Chilling out with Taichou with our WC teams

Crafted my White Dagger today.  I don't care what anyone says about White Dagger versus Black Dagger, so don't even start!  It was my decision to craft it.  This dagger was blessed by Blue Crane chipping and now I have another UD weapon.  *_*  Also rechipped the Black Dagger and that one now has Life.  This totally made my day.  \(^.^)/  How interesting that the White one is UD and the Black one is Life!  :o  These two daggers look quite nice together, like the Black and White Bishops.  I need another Golem and another Human weapon... but what?

I might even take Lavinia (Torsche) out now and play with her.  Haven't used her in ages.  D:
