Bounty Hunter Event

Three new Bounty Hunts were added - Sphinx, Minotaur, and Medusa.  And... Cadet Elisa Card Event based on going to BH.  >.<;  I know people asked for play events but wow... 500 points... I don't have that many hours to be that active and spam BH that much.  Might not get her card.  Plus we didn't get any points from the new three BHs.  o.o

Sphinx was a lot of knock downs.  Minotaur was no problem.  Medusa wasn't bad either, just the flying mobs following in hoards, have to kill them first.

Also attended "real" Medusa.  :p

Feather for Blessing

Attended Clan Raids to continue with Family Attribute quest.  Tried out a few different trios but at the end of the day, I feel most comfortable using JosephDominic and Alicia.  It has to be in that order, it doesn't work as well when I have them reversed.

Disaster of Stone Pit Area - Used duo Muskies, but for some reason I don't feel like I used to about my pew~pew~pews!  D:  Katia and Etienne are crying.  :<

Went to TP Rose with Heiran and Cathy Int, but here I also felt meh.  Suddenly it feels like I did a 180.  Used to use shooters and elementalists, now I feel rusty.  It doesn't help that I feel my bracelets are shotty.

Was going to keep the same team for TP Sautarelle, but just did not feel like bringing Cathy.  :\  I didn't care anymore if I got in trouble for bringing a non-magic character to TP (clan leader has a rule about bringing magic characters).  I. just. could. not. do. it.  >.<;

I went to Medusa with JD and Alicia.  It's been a long time!  She died quickly.

On a side note, it was hard to do Barrol quest with Asoka and Musk and Scout.

Sleepy Ferret Sleepy

Attended Wraith.  Had to deal with a lot of Parasites and King Vordoris  This guy is creepy!

First time seeing a Lust up close, usually I'm shooting at them, but this time the team was out cold on the floor.

Also went to Medusa after crashing eight times just trying to get into Castilla Garrison.  I can only hope that the new host and the new server would be crash free.  :\  Medusa did not show up with her snakey hair.

Did CM five times.  One of the teams was a bit difficult to use, Caly/Raven/Scout, but eventually I'll get better at using them with less trouble.  So much skilling.  I'm used to spacebaring (without use of pink loli) and getting the job done.  ^.^;

On the Upside of a Downward Spiral

Attended Cortes and crazy thing happened again, I tagged something from Nephthys, albeit a DH, but something nonetheless.  Seems like when I do tag it's something DH.  Giving me resources to stock up for my next GCr?  (If only I had one!  T.T)

BH gave me a 96e Main-Gauche, something different, but I barely have 96 Chips to chip it and that 96e Rapier I got recently.  One of the mobs dropped an Alphabet Box!

Also attended Medusa.  Enjoyed watching a certain stance massacre way too much.  ^^;  I like that it's maxed speed without having to do too much.  :D  I use it at CM now, without having to Pink Loli (thus saving some of them since the MM seems to be sold out all the time!).

Was unexpectedly dashed off to Red Wraith today.  o.o;

Crazy things that shouldn't be happening seems to be happening lately where I tag drops when I shouldn't.  Two DH were tagged in my name.  Way weird.

Server has gone rampant on farming Alphabet Boxes.  o.o

I'm just happy for new Pose and Pierre got his costume.  I neglect my Fighters a lot.  :x

Ghastly Slumber in a Can

Went to Cortes and assisted with Invulnering the WC.  I happened to have my two Incantation rings on, now that the true wizards are fully equipped with WC rings.  I have too many Emi related rings on hand.  ET (still need to craft a second), Incant, WC, PF, and DVB.  Taking up Inventory space!  The lowest I've gotten it to is 192/248.

Wrapped up the Angie Extended quests, but had to hunt and kill the Elite Vampire Bat Lord five times before the quest item dropped.  The Golden Bat even killed Master Laurent...  Couldn't start M'Boma quest because Vegas Javier was closed on both channels.  Couldn't farm for Dragon Leathers either because Zone Uno was in the same situation.  Seriously, did we have Maintenance?

Attended Medusa.  Simon still got smashed even though he was wearing a borrowed pro armor.  WC'd twice with Ana.

This would have been nice for a jackpot, but not so nice for BH.

Didn't solo Prison tonight; clan activities took up the evening and I was too exhausted and brain dead and only did the easier self dailies.  Was sent to bed by Coach before I really collapsed.  Sorry I've been an awful ferret.  :<

Tattered Pawns

Got some MQs today from CMx3 and Prison solo, kept going until the Pink Loli ran out.  ^.^;

Attended Lucifer Wraith for the first time.  Well, sort of.  I did go once way back in January with my former clan, but I don't remember much.  D:

I was interrupted before we went to LG, so I trailed behind.  Managed to find my way through the first floor, but got lost on the second floor.  This time the weapon was a GS instead of Knuckle or Gaiter.  Unfortunately the number I picked was ten off the FC number.  ^.^;

Was still up when it was time for Medusa, attended, but don't remember if I was much help.  :o  Out of habit I do a WC on Medusa, but not sure if it's necessary or not.  I do slap two rings on Ana.

The first thing I did was work on upgrading and the two items made it!  Now I have one last item I want to work on.  I hope I don't run out of resources before this one makes it.  Then I will not upgrade anything for the rest of the year.  Not that I have anything I want to upgrade anymore.  ^.^;

Eollica-sama hopped on Orpesia and I suddenly remembered I should check my Illier account to see if there were boxes to spam.  XD  I got there and nudged Eo-sama.  We hung out in Ch1 Auch Leo while I spammed Raiden boxes, nothing exciting, just a bunch of Elite Treasure boxes and I gave Eo-sama two Raiden boxes and she got the same Treasure boxes so I gifted them to her.  (Such a small gift, compared to the work she put in to SG'ing my account there.  D:)  I had fun even though my time on Illier was brief.  (Who doesn't have fun spamming boxes?  XD)  When I get around to farming the last of my next patch materials (mainly the Dragonfly Silk and Black Magic Stone) I'll try to spend some time on Illier again.  It won't be awhile though, I have a hard time being active on Orpesia as it is.  :x

I was gifted Taurus and so Pierre was able to start on Crusader.  ^.^  Thank you very much!  <3  moo-moo~

Had six Angler Spinelles and with Blue Crane buff, three of them turned out to be Anglers!  Talk about good luck!  Best spawnage I ever had!

Had to submit a ticket to G1 for a mission crash.  I hope they respond soon.  >[

Attended Medusa.  It was so laggy that it took 30 seconds before the buff I did would actually occur and I had a hard time switching Ana's Rosario to Rod.  I don't even know if I was able to WC, only saw that Simon passed out on the floor.  >.<  Then it was Ferret's turn to pass out.  zzz

I Made it to Post #200!!!

Wow, this is Post #200!  I never thought when I started writing this blog back on January 27 of this year that I would be [so stubborn about] writing in it everyday!  I definitely had a lot of ups and downs and even nearly quit the game in April.  I haven't said this yet, but thank you friends and passerbys for checking out my blog, hopefully it's been entertaining for the most part.  As of right now there are 14,766 views and the Top Ten Countries are United States, Russia, Singapore, Philippines, Canada, Malaysia, Japan, United Kingdom, Brazil, and Netherlands!  :O  That's quite a wide spread!

Today I did the usual dailies (Circus and CM, sometimes BH Occulta) as well as Crow and Joaquin Barrier.  CM didn't give me any chips at all!  >O

Prison consisted of Senpai, Loyo-san, Pikachu (omg, Pika actually went to Prison?*), and Delakan-kun.  I admit was I really tired today and couldn't really focus, so I laid back a bit and let Loyo-san zap the crap out of the Elite and mobs on the left side. (Out of habit I always take left side in Prison and usually ask Senpai to back me up because I swear there is a patch of lag RIGHT THERE and causes me to have only 50% of killing the Elite without dying; kill them before they kill me, I'm capable of doing the job, but sometimes not able to due to lag.)  *Ginger and James have been MIA from Prison.  And Taichou too!  :<

I was gifted a Crafted Ice RES Necklace recipe!  :D  Thank you!  Now to get a Cut Ice RES Necklace to complete Cut Necklace collection!  :D  (I'm a nerdy collector, I like collecting complete sets.  ^.^;)

Later I got lasso'd in going to Medusa [when I should have gone to bed >_>;].  Simon (Raven) [for burst DPS], Claudia, and Ana didn't die.  I made sure I had Level 12 WC on.  :o

The thing that made me most happy** was getting one of the two Le Scarces to +7.  I always hold my breath and pray to the Upgrading Powers That Be.  It wasn't on the first try (started upgrading yesterday), but it made it there, so that was awesome.  :D  **getting it to +7 wasn't the only reason I was happy (the related party knows why)!  \(^.^)/

There was a bit of bummer news at work today that made me feel sad.

But two things cheered me up in the game.  :)

✿ A Sys Pet!  It's like an early birthday present or something.  *_*  It's so cute.  *cuddles* *squee!*

❀ Two Constellation Boxes dropped from Griffon!  Lucky Blue Crane buff yielded a Pisces!  Now Katia and Etienne can learn Unlimited Shot together!  \(^.^)/  Muskies are <3

After Medusa on Wednesday I wandered off to the sides of the map.  The scenery kind of makes me think of Manchu Picchu (not that I have ever gone there).

Someone killed Ben.  They were tired of seeing his pimp-face.  He must have many enemies.  :o ~!  Personally, I think it was Gracielo; no one touches Freesia and gets away with it!  >o

Another day of the usual.  CM was nice to me today though, I got five chips from two runs.  ^.^;

/edit Ferret broke the rules again and went to Medusa.  Was suggested to try Raven's Cul-de-Sac.  Punishment to be served out tomorrow.  o.o  *scared*

I Only Pray You'll Never Leave Me Behind

Got home late and missed out on Lucifer Basement bosses.  :x

Suffered what Ferret considered was punishment for going to bed late yesterday (had it been prolonged, it would have been devastating for various reasons!).  T.T

Had to redo the Jun Viron box turn in, because yesterday there were bats near Jun and Ana died twice trying to turn in box check to Jun.  D:

Was given a "Get Out of Jail Free" card (a.k.a. "Okay to stay up late" card) which Ferret used to go to Medusa with Laurent and his yummy Daemon Jewel Pistol (Taichou said to bring him to test it out).

I need to create new characters to level!

Currently not writing at home, so I don't have shiny screencaps on me to post, will edit post tomorrow!

A Celebration?

I just realized today marks my third month in Halcyon Clan!  :o

Today was raid filled because supposedly it was a lucky day.
For me it was kinda break even.  ^.^;
I had fun though!  :D

Circus, CM x2 (I really need to get MQ!!!), Prison, Griffon (one Constellation box), Rafflesia (no box), Scharf (one Constellation box).  I think the trick is that the Blue Crane needs to be in close proximity during the raid or else I don't get a Constellation box (hence, none from Raff).  The lucky buffer pet got me a Scorpio!  :D  And the other was a Capricorn.  Much later in the evening I also went to Medusa.  Ana even got a WC on Medusa.

Might have missed listing another raid, but my secretary is away and I can't function without them.  :x

Yesterday evening's adventures were very compact:

*Vesping the remainder of Kuro to Master 10 in about 25 minutes (senpai really created a vesping monster out of me ^_^;;;)

*El Pat for FF buff but I got stuck in limbo in the entrance warp and missed the chance to dps bosses

*Undertaker with senpai with my Viron PPT ("pew pew team" of Simon and Laurent)

*Prison was messy because my graphics were lagging and my heal pot holder wasn't working and I got smashed in ogre cell  >.<;  Agony!

*Merc'd Kuro over (Family Level went up to 49 and 36%, getting closer!)

*Vesping (on my own account) a new female elementalist, Freesia, using Claudia and the new male scout Alberto (on Arnis using Trump, anyone have a UD dagger?), because if I kept using Geia and Ana, they would max out and I don't want to do that!

This evening didn't involve as many activities, but was it still time consuming.  Upon logging in, one of the vice leaders indicated they were aware I had a WC team (eek!) and I agreed to go to ToC after I scarfed up my dinner.  Plans were changed and senpai took on WC'ing.  In the end, this was a better idea, as I was too burnt out from work to really focus learning to do this.  I think on the weekends I'd be able to concentrate more.  The Dark Gemini roulette wouldn't let me buy the third one even though I was pressing the whole time but it didn't even count down and went straight to "0".  What the heck?!  I came out of ToC with a Cut Shoot RES Necklace which senpai swapped me a Physical RES one.  Now I have Shoot, Physical, Fire, and Psychokinesis Necklaces.  I'm guessing there's a Lightening and Ice one?  :p  I'm such a n00b when it comes to Accessories.  I wanna collect one of each Necklace!

 This shocked me!  I tagged the first boss in ToC?  How???

I think the Blue Crane buffer pet also gives +500 Drop Rate for wanted Box items.  I got my Blue Serpent Costume Ele-M and Le Sagittaire Optimiste Hair because it was standing nearby.  ;D

I seem to be stealing people's catch phrases.  (Today's subject title was snatched from senpai.)

Went to Circus with LaRo-kun, he took the Shimmeister (Lorch) and I let him do the driving.  Usually we go in and charge and rape everything, we've even started to split up to kill bosses, but I was doing everything half heartily today, so I watched him use shimmy skills instead.

I started the Viki Testis Stance Book Quest, but I'm short 165 Copper Pieces.  Anyone have any they can donate?  :<  I can't afford to spend 500,000 feso for this book.  It seems ridiculous to me that it takes two vesps just to get one pre-vet level.

Speaking of Viki, no Shiny Crystals for Easter Eggs.

Senpai somewhat convinced me to hold off maxing out Valencia (Calypso).  I'm too tired to vesp much more...  Therefore, we will shall see Valen at two or three more ToC runs, peut-être.

We were going to duo Prison (riiight... more like I was going to have another "useless disciple" outing), but he was able to invite Yoshikan-san to come.  Which turned out to be a good thing because senpai disconnected.  -.-  I managed to kill the Elite Veilant on the left, but died trying to get back to the middle (I didn't know about the warp, I usually go middle; come to think of it, on the rare occasions that I actually attend Prison, I tag after Rei-kun or Tepperin-kun).  I suppose I should say I'm glad to know that I can take on an Elite Veilant by myself.  Yoshi-san took care of everything.  :x  Then it was ogre cell time.  Even though I boosted, ET buffed, and Protection Field all three of them, the team kept dying and I used up 10 SCs and couldn't buy anymore from the feso shop even though I had enough feso and Geia (Asoka) was alive.  It was particularly frustrating, because I only had 5% left on that ogre. Orz

I guess when real life sucks, the game will suck for me too.

The Seemingly Little Things...

I ended up going to Medusa tonight, though normally I should have been in bed...

After that, Ophi-taichou let me borrow her Vespanola Navy Captain Costume, the one for Male Musk (until I finish the questline).  T^T

It meant a lot to me, especially because of the week I've been having*, it was so nice and it made my evening better.

I don't know whether the maintenance did much good to fix anything.  I couldn't get Kuro-chan in to CAA for awhile.  I managed to get him in, but then I had to leave and then I couldn't get him back in again.  Well... while he was there he was protecting LaRo-kun's Valleria.  Sorta.  (She doesn't really need to be protected, Kuro-chan just wants to feel needed.)

Instead, Kuro-chan decided to go stickup Snow-kun's Helena for money.

And finally, the reason behind the subject title...  The clan went on a special occasion which lead me to obtain my Sphinx kill and my Medusa medal!!!  \(^.^)/  I didn't think I was ever going to get my medal.  :o  But today was a special day!!!   Some good came out of this crazy maintenance!

Note to self: Augury 22-80% vs ET 23-50%, the former is definitely catching up to the latter...

Seriously... super raid days used to only happen between Saturdays and Sundays when I was in Core, and that was Clan Raids only.  This Friday*, I'm all pooped out from the following series of events.

♈ Prison Raid (no Inno) I died a lot less this time :x

♉ Circus (no Elite Ziz Recipe) used Ben (M-Ele) and he experienced a lot less knock downs

♊ A very high end raid... that I would never have attended because I'm usually at work

♋ Tower of Chaos (no Beholder, 5th attempt)... I inhaled dinner to during Queen's 2nd form and came back at 3rd form

I took Katia (F-Musk) and Laurent (Lionel) to Clan Raids and Viron Crow.  I really missed using my Katia and watching her and Laurent on Outrage with the speed they were at.  It.Was.Pure.Joy.  I.Love.Watching.Outrage.  *_*  <3 <3 <3

*Normally I'm not home all day on Fridays, there was too much snow and I wasn't about to spend an hour shoveling my driveway then drive two hours to work.

First Time Meeting Medusa

Since this week's maintenance stated that the Minotauros, Sphinx, and Medusa spawn bug was fixed, I wandered over to the Temple.  *_*  They did spawn.  I was lucky and was kindly accepted into a squad and got two of the quest items.  *_*
